Excitement over 5% new holding by Norwegian company..They however have stated intention of investment only...Superdry cannot be taken over due to the founders massive holding in the company..The owner has said he is looking for a big capital investment for a stake in the company,this will not happen..It will end up being in a CVA with company shrinking to around half its size.

The excuse of unseasonal warm weather does not make sense..We had a warm start to winter,but then 3.5 weeks of stone cold weather,where people had to buy sweaters and coats etc..More truthfully it seems the stock is not appealling to the public and also high prices..M&S seem to be doing very well..This company has no future on the high street..

I think this upwards movements in SP is speculators piling in before the American (who was parachuted in on a temp basis to address liquidity and debt issues) comes up with a plan with an RNS...No new short positions now for 5 days

A very vague and thin response by diversified,to the allegations..If they do not reduce the dividend it will blow the allegations out of the water.However any reduction,will justify the accusations

You miss the point..Superdry seems to have a diminishing future,so why would anyone want to buy the company..There is no way Superdry will have a very profitable time in the years ahead..Notice the original owner and major shareholder is not willing to inject more cash into the company,so why would anyone else

No,l don't think so..Very heavy director share buying after last trading update,so they are not expecting the SP to drop more.. Someone is selling down a stake it seems today after a 20% recent share rise..

Shorts unchanged Monday.Tuesday increase slightly and Wednesday,big increase in short positions..

Shorts are clearly confident that the cash crisis will have to result in a massive rights issue..So big that shareholders will be diluted far below today's SP...People need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Nike recently gave a profits warning,today JD Sports gave a profits warning...America a particular problem..Doc is heavily dependent on US sales....A profit warning is coming in January...SELL asap

Nobody on here wishing ftse100 a happy 40th birthday....Since Dec 31st 1999,dow Jones has more than trebled..FTSE however is up 700 points over a 24 year period..(around 30 points per year)

It does look as if all the sellers are done..Lots of buys but nothing huge yet.
