Self-sufficiency indeed. Perhaps sales would be achieved if the BoD and CEO received no salary and only sales related remuneration. GDR has been running on fumes for years. The fumes being the charity of PI's, through placements and now the best we can hope for at the moment is if Devote prop up the SP.

That said, if this mindset is representative of other hospitals there will be a % of babies treated in UK with the potentially dangerous anitbiotic who will lose their hearing.

I believe it's worrying for a few reasons:
1) Why would CEO of a company want to read posts on here? Gain the mood of the PI? if so, why?
2) Is he learning/gaining ideas from this board? If so, why? any ideas (eg for an RNS regarding news eg new variant) on this board are simply common sense imo.

wrt to Mr Starres, I recall one post during the pandemic where he expected sp to hit 600p, as it happened it plummeted southwards and now we hear he's sold out during this latest spike and is predicting single figures. Those are rampy and derampy opinions based on his position, you can take them or leave them, yet many of his posts contain sources of relevant information, links, paragraphs from documents etc which are useful to people like me whose research and understanding is generally superficial.

I agree 100%. There is also a difference between optimists and rampers and pessimists and derampers. There are lots of pessimists who are long-term share-holders in GDR - unfortunately things did not go as expected eg lack of sales, lack of approvals of GDR products etc etc .. and thats the crux of the bickering on the board. Many optimists are called out as rampers with an agenda and many pessimists are called out as derampers with an agenda. It's also good to remember that whatever people write on this chat it does not affect the SP , but that said we do know Mr Budd reads this site every now and again as he confirmed it during a post this year! That revelation is very interesting and worrying indeed, imo.

There is no such thing as not having a position. An investors position is either long, short or in cash. As such LSE welcomes all commentators , if don't break the lse rules.

exactly. It's a backup should they not sell AIHL to any new trusts/hospitals. AIHL is a no brainer if priced correctly.

They don't, it's all profit, paid for by PI's, as always.

They probably have shorted the 2million stock they acquired at 32p, I'd be surprised if they hadn't as hedging an investment is the first thing a financial company does after an investment is agreed. Perhaps they opened their short position GDR before the deal was announced, when sp was 38+p, in the knowledge that the sp would take a hit after the deal was announced. That said shorttracker says no-one is shorting GDR but I really can't believe that. River Fort are not stupid.

MyIPA, I think that is Mr Budd sentiment too, the Fort facility is just backup funding and will not be used because GDR will have already turned into the cashcow we all hope for once sales commence.
