They need alot of good news for PI's to agree to taking up a placing. The last placing in May tested PI patience and PH agreed to step in and take 20% of all shares.

To kick the can further down the road for 12 months, say Q1 2025 - Q1 2026 they'll need to raise approx £8 million, as they stated in 2025 they expect a cash burn of £600k (or was it £ 650k? ). To attract new PI's , the agreed dilution price would have to be incredibly attractive, less than 0.5p imo. GDR has awful financial form - enough sales to pay for their coffee, leaving the annual dilution to pay for everything else.

GDR may be looking at the bigger picture, trying to work out how they can keep the SP stable as they try to start funding negotiations for 2025/2026 with Peel Hunt. TBH I'm convinced Peel Hunt is advising GDR on how and when to best publish news (both good and bad), since it was Peel Hunt that saved the company in June by taking on a temporary 20% interest. Who knows how many GDR shares they have on their books at the moment. I believe Peel Hunt told GDR to focus on their job allowing Peel Hunt to focus on how best to keep GDR afloat whilst Peel hunt themselves can also still make a profit.

SP closed 8% lower than it opened. Todays announcement from scotland was not just priced in but the market expected more. Tbh I though the conclusion of the report was far more positive than the NICE report and yet the sp still close 8% lower than it opened.

POC testing is a mindset thing. Once POC is onboarded, health care professionals will not want to go back to waiting for lab-test results..

Which means that the savvy NHS trust will invest in POC tests to improve better outcomes and greater savings to the NHS in the longer term (5+ years)

so despite inital costs this report says that the savings over the first 5 years are the same. So POC testing has paid for itself after 5 years and implies that more will be saved using POC testing than lab testing after 5 years.
