thank you again mr lionel.
interesting comment under one of the videos that perhaps sums up how the general mindset of the health industry, including the nhs, still needs to change and currently doesn't yet fully appreciate or embrace pharmogenetics. it explains the watching-paint-dry pace of gdr's sales. obviously incredibly frustrating to all concerned, not least patients who are missing out on the best care that is available. if patients only knew of these genetic tests to improve outcomes, which health services have yet to adopt..

a fantastic event bringing together those people already converted to the pgx cause. now we need to shout it out from the rooftops for all key stakeholders to appreciate the importance of this tool: patients, physicians and pharmacists for sure, but also those politicians who have it in their gift to make decisions and fund this vital and valuable resource. the significant contribution that pgx will make to sustainability and the wider economy is huge. it’s now not a case of can we afford to do it, but can we afford not to do it! there is already enough evidence to support the implementation of panel testing and, in some specific circumstances, point of care testing. we need to move much more quickly for the sake of all the patients we are there to serve. first do no harm, a key element of being in the caring profession!"
