Another story today is Mara buying a site from Applied, accounting for 4.5EH. Saw an Applied deal coming as mentioned yesterday, if anything would like see them buy more. So far market thinks it's good news only on the Applied side, miners in general probably a bit too unloved at the moment for market to get overly excited on Mara side. But at least something tangible coming from the ATM, and in the longer term actions like this will reduce costs.

Argo are a bit different from other miners as their raises are necessary for their survival. Even the strongest miners are diluting, but they are generally using at least a decent portion of that cash raised for expansion or growth opportunities, whereas Argo need to use it all to be able to service their debt and remain solvent.

They are moving towards ownership of more sites, albeit bit late in cycle. Buying Applied Digital would be good fit, coming on for half their EH, and their openness about pinning blame on Applied maybe strategic with a view to M&A.

Decent numbers being reported from their pool now key to turnaround story imo. Getting back to december peaks would be start and catalyst. Been an off period, but with hundreds of millions to throw at the problem and just over one month left of this block reward size, hope and assumption has to be they're cracking on asap ✌

Standards at a plc are different from a small businesses though. Better to compare to peers and in this respect the lowly rating has been referred to in media before - although since below published it has improved. I guess all those free shares helped morale.
