From a shareholder point of view as well as those CLNs, worth factoring in warrants too. As of end of last financial year there were 10+ billion outstanding, 7.6bn of which with exercise price of 0.04p.

#1 applies to UK sales but still doing well in larger markets - inside top ten for both for US and overall/global. Good going for what is still a pre-release (until today). User reviews will be key next to see if it can keep momentum going, but if it passes that test could (literally) be a gamechanger. If it does turn out to be a blockbuster, could there's also halo effect where users look to other their titles, potentially boosting back catalogue sales too.

Bellway pulling out after spending millions on due diligence obviously made market assume the worst. Cladding as you say is the big one. It hasn't helped their provision smaller proportionally than peers' equivalents suggest it should be. Good news is at some point that has to be priced in, but in meantime the uncertainty is a killer. Ideally CEO would come out and say we've done a full audit on all sites and final cost is XX, rip the plaster off and get it over with.

We may never get to see a final share register for Ingenuity - aside from having to show controlling stakes, private company disclosure rules pretty limited. Might have to be instead a process of elimination looking at changes in RemainCo register post-split.

Yes some overthinking here, NAV should be read quite literally. If it was net asset value minus assets like cash it wouldn't be a net value. And if cash was excluded from NAV no trust would want to liquidate anything if it meant willingly reducing such a key metric. The whole system would be broken by perverse disincentives.

As I mentioned in another thread, the reason these realisations are reducing NAV is very simple. They are realising a lower value than they previously said their stake in X firm was worth.

If I claim to have worldly net assets of bananas valued at £10, I can tell everyone my NAV is £10. But if it turns out I can only sell them for £5 because there's a banana downturn or I've been telling porkies about the value of my bananas, sadly my NAV goes down £5. (But not zero because I still have £5)
