@iknownuffic As in get it back trading on aim, allow long suffering shareholders the opportunity to buy/sell. After that the back slapping bonuses might be more appropriate, not before.

More broadly in plcs remuneration is something often raised by shareholders as an issue, even by IIs. See Restaurant Group recently, Glass Lewis campaigns etc. Not sure why you're so upset about it being raised here?

ARBK has decoupled quite a bit from ARB in recent months, Nasdaq noticeably more expensive in that 14:30-16:30 window when both trading (although not on days like today when US closed!). Surprised nobody's arbitraging to close gap but just goes to show how little interest there is the share.

Getting rid of Bob would actually be a smart move imo. He's made a few missteps such as poor communication, backchannel with some shareholders but not others, pretty rude to one or two, blaming auditors, blaming LSE, plus trying to award himself shares like confetti even though in position short time and when the company still suspended.

More than anything the company does need someone more dynamic with greater retail/ecom experience at the helm.

Of course this being Argo they botched it by not diluting much earlier, who can forget the kamikaze raise attempt last year when without an actual commitment the mystery buyer pulled out, almost killing the company. Dilution is expected with miners but there are certainly good and bad strategies to manage it effectively.

They have definitely presented it in a convoluted way, old habits die hard even with new management in place.

I was wondering why they hadn't yet diluted this year, them first asking for this authority to mega dilute explains it. It makes some sense they might as well kitchen sink it, get it over with. It's not great if you're a shareholder but this may realistically be only thing that keeps the company afloat.

The proposal is well in excess of 20%, current shares in issue 477m, they are looking for authority to issue 318m + more in special resolutions.

The boardroom has become more like a game of musical chairs with four departures now this year. CEO surely now just going through the motions, he must realise countdown on his own tenure has started. I would be amazed if he was still in post in a year's time.

CB you may find Cipher Mining worth a look. Model similar to CLSK, very little holding selling as they mine. Hashrate nothing to write home about compared to bigger players but they're scaling up quickly.

I was considering based on an analysis claiming their costs of production amongst lowest and as possible counterweight to miners with more hodl. Didn't go for in the end as a pretty new entrant so a bit of faith required, should have done though based on price action. Only snag is looking a bit toppy near term.

Bowlers12 I'm in same position as you force holding Corz in HL, took a punt pre-OTC and in retrospect I'm glad as would have sold before now. I'm sure you've seen they're looking to emerge from Chapter 11 in September, following that hopefully it's game on for Nasdaq re-entry. Counter-intuitively they'll actually be the least indebted miner at that point. Big variable of course is how much equity the creditors will take, will be vast majority but it's looking much healthier now than back in Jan.

It has been well publicized that Bonnier has a number of creditors after him (for example https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/aaqua-boss-bonnier-sued-by-hmrc-for-unpaid-tax-dxtl2rqvx). E&L is based in Indonesia which has benefit of remoteness, not just physically but legally too. Please do some research before trying to claim I'm a troll.

@Tyrannosrs_Rekt I wouldn't put too much faith in some youtuber claiming to be an expert for your investment decisions, especially not one claiming this will go up 500% soon. Sounds pretty suspect to me.

Bonnier had previously transferred these shares to his missus. This latest switcheroo to a remote jurisdiction looks like an attempt to keep them further away from creditors/Candy, especially after that asset freeze.

Argo is a bit of a graveyard share now, shame as it needn't have been that way but previous management made a right old mess of it.

But even with backdrop of decline today's price action felt extreme, that sudden 20% drop today when btc was actually lower during trading yesterday. Not that argo tracks btc anymore, but it's properly decoupled now.

Meanwhile the US miners are so much more logical, mara acts just like a leveraged bet on btc.

ARBK below $1 level again, if it stays there for long board will have to wake up and crack on with the reverse split they should have done last time.

Btc looking pretty ropey but glad to be light on altcoins with carnage they've had this week
