Trading update on 8 November I note. Let's hope there is something positive and not the same old same old! This company just seems to plod along - a + trading update followed by a little spike in SP followed then by a large drop. The result then being no growth for us shareholders at least - what is it the market does not believe?

Yes the Angola business was not good - severely dragged the share price down and a year on it still has not recovered. I agree on the profitability, dividend, et al but somewhere along the line the market does not value the company. Up 4% today to 88.55 p so maybe a slow move up - who knows?

All posts appear positive but with a slant to everything being as we hope - growth, correct strategy et al. In the absence of anything positive from Management and to be fair to a lot of us on the BB, speculation, I am not getting too excited but holding out in the hope things are on the upward trajectory. Let's see what happens and all I ask can it be divulged in the near future - good or bad? That's all.......................

What if BooHoo made a successful bid for Koovs? Are BooHoo in India and if not what a great way to get into India.

some sensible discussion re: Koovs for a change - up to now, and especially on some BB's there has been nothing but insult after insult between some participants.
Yes - I am in BooHoo and will remain so - I have this gut feeling that Koovs (hence I bought at 10.4) might replicate it and hope I'm and others are correct - let's see.
BTW - does anyone know when the RNS/next trading statement will be?

Is it possible for someone to find out contact details for the CEO, Chairman, et al? Surely a direct request for an update from shareholders requires an answer/response. Is non-engagement with shareholders a reportable matter to AIM. Put quite simply - we wish to know what is going on?

How does one contact management at KOOVS - as I see it most investors are demanding a statement/rns/whatever and they are silent. Is this allowed?

The bottom line is the sp is nowhere near 65 p or 185p..... How on earth is there someone in the wings waiting to make a killing by buying low and selling high with the history of this company - Darby and the board must explain what is happening or what might happen

I agree with Bistleover - the company is ok (ish) but it is management - the market does not believe in them and it is really weird that the same faces are around. Darby just seems to be hanging on between AGM's and trading statements - why not he is being paid nicely. Did Darby ever explain why the sp has dropped despite him rejecting McM (65p) bid? Has he been asked to by anyone? We can only hope guys & dolls - cest la vie

Right on there Southbubble. I wrote on this BB that I sent a personal letter to Mr Darby on this very point - no answer. Perhaps if everyone sent him a letter (inundate him) with this message. He won't do anything but he will know we know we are all on to him - I doubt he was ever challenged. In fact, if everyone on this BB attended the AGM and told him personally - would that not be nice......

It is simple - more buys than sells and sp should move up. But PFD is not simple and the market simply does not have any confidence in the company and by extension the people running it. As others have said - PFD has good products and brands - it simply needs leadership that can demonstrate to the markets it knows where it is heading. Well am I wrong or am I right people?

The Chairman and others have bought shares and some people think the purchases are to cash in on the forthcoming results because they have "insider information" - by my reckoning that is a prison term if that has happened

Ladies & Gentlemen Reading the posts from all and references to Darby and Chairman and basically the board wanting to drive down the SP so they can buy us small shareholders shares/panic us/et al conjures up to a simpleton such as I: 1. this is not in the company's best interests 2. thoughts that the Board are manipulating the SP for their own benefit With the above in mind should we not ask the police and SFO to investigate? JUST SAYING............................

Expattwo - predictably no response. When is the next AGM - those that could let me know and we could meet up there and ask directly for answers - oh and why there is no courtesy of a response to a very civil letter asking what is going in/what the board are doing etc. Might as a precursor send a letter to all the board members individually - they are being paid enough and they will answer - period...

Ask Darby and the Board - they surely represent the shareholders

Come on guys = 65p seriously undervalues PFD. We all know that and Darby and his board know this full well. They are just biding their time and also looking after us shareholders Now - where is Snow White......................
