RE: Price target11 Apr 2021 12:52
Good post AIMtodeath,
I think it's a bit foolish to bother with price predictions as you say - but should the milestones be reached by the end of this year - most importantly the Environmental Clearance and the partnership with Galp (which tbh I think rests on obtaining said Clearance) - to indicate it's all systems go then I don't see the company hanging around these low levels for a project which will subsequently effectively be shovel and finance-ready post DFS.
Sellbydate, let's say all goes to plan, the eventual share price will depend on things such as the structure of whatever financing deal is arranged and total number of shares, the lithium price, cost margins, the macro European EV picture etc. To be clear though, there are very few projects at MdB's stage, with the quality of resource possible for further expansion, in Europe - that is a very attractive investment proposition imo.
First though SAV needs to get local/state approval of its EIA on a rational, factual, realistic basis without emotional interference, the importance of which can't be emphasised enough - this is Europe not China and the highest standards must be met to satisfy those who might be against the project on an emotional level. I think I read somewhere all the documentation came to over 1,000 pages, the company and its consultants used for it would have put in a hell of a lot of time and effort.
Better to be thorough and open with all relevant parties and take the right amount of time to secure necessary approvals.
