TGR + Graphite26 Mar 2021 10:01
As we see TGR building its operation and completing its now global leading management with the new additions shown in the RNS yesterday + the recognition of the company's Strategy being rewarded the day before, the company is positioning itself very well in my opinion.
Further Graphite and Graphene expertise being brought in, good to fantastic test results complementing the work carried out in conjunction with some major global players in a hot, if not the hottest sector right now (EVs), increased production capacity being built as we speak on account of rising demand from the likes of our FTSE250 customer and others, all while the resource in the ground is further expanded and proven up by SRK under the Stage 2 exploration campaign currently underway reinforces the CEO's statement in the last RNS: "we are in accelerated development mode".
Indeed, one sort of understands even clearer the current environment for graphite when you consider the latest forecasts from UBS which gives an appreciation of why the company is likely facing massive demand and a need to consider ramping up activity.
From 23rd March 2021:
"Natural graphite demand grows by a factor of seven by 2030 (assuming 45% synthetic graphite into the anode and “conservative view” of silicon use) to roughly 5.9mt" - this demand is for EVs I believe so doesn't even take into account the growing market for Flame ******ants and other speciality graphite areas that TGR is a disruptor and innovator in.

From what i've seen there is a huge demand for the natural resources required for EVs (on top of all other growing markets), but very few significant producing sources with a Green, Low Carbon production profile ex-China. Likely great competition for those natural resources ahead imo. I'd like to hear more about new contracts and work with other partners to get a real sense of the financial potential (hearing the 63% average rise in prices per MT achieved for graphite sales at the start of March is very good - it will be even better when the company confirms the volume of sales is also rising) to add to what is in the prospectus.
All the above combined is why I believe TGR is very well placed at the moment, make sure to
DYOR.
