Not sure I follow your logic there, FunnyGuy. The pivot will come with news, which I suspect is still some weeks away (Q2/24). What might determine the short term direction of the SP will be volume. Thin volume and the MMs will walk the price down, but that will hardly constitute a "pivotal week". It will merely signify MM games and an attempt to flush out weak hands. Just my opinion, fwiw.
In fairness, colbalt, one could forgive Warty for being a tad pessimistic. He's watched his investment in SAR pretty much go down the toilet, and then to cap it all he takes a tumble while minding his own business out shopping. I think I'd also be feeling a bit gloomy about life if that had happened to me!
Hang in there, Warty, you'll be fine. Anyone who has remained invested in Sareum as long as you have (with all the trials and tribulations associated therein), has the resolve to overcome anything! Best wishes.
"Falling heavily in supermarket", while making a bee-line for the booze section? Respect! Wishing you a speedy recovery, sir.
Nicely is right. The sp did hit 10p to buy (prior to consolidation), albeit briefly, intraday. I was glued to the screen in those days, wondering how much higher it could go. Now I dare not look. It's like watching some horror show. As for today's RNS, there are definitely some positives, especially that the HNWIs seem still to be onboard.
Not unexpected. I feared a lower placing price, to be fair.
The list was courtesy of a gentleman called Brighty, I think. I agree, Potnak, things could turn around very quickly here. Remember, March 2020, 0.25p, to 10p (intraday) in July 2021. What a ride that was! Let's see tomorrow...
Claretsmad, the only lies I see are from those with an agenda to destroy the sp. Those guessing or speculating are doing so precisely because the agreement with RF is so opaque.
"The act of making something less clear and less easy to understand, especially intentionally." Does this ring any bells with regard to the RF financing arrangement?
Basil, I suspect interim results will be published on Thursday. Then there's the Easter break. Perhaps an investor meet will happen next week, and maybe announced on Thursday. Who knows? It's the blind leading the blind here at the moment.
Blastoid7, when the sp was skyrocketing, I'm pretty sure they issued speeding ticket RNSs to thwart the upward movement. But nothing when the sp is collapsing? Poor show. Who in their right mind will invest here when (a) the whole financing issue is still up in the air, and (b) the board are showing such utter contempt for their shareholders, many of whom have had their backs through thick and thin. If I can break even, I'm out at the earliest opportunity.
?
To be honest, Zed, anything to stop the bleeding.
Aber, I share your concerns. One sure-fire way of destroying confidence and creating uncertainty is to allude to funding issues but then offer no concrete solutions and leave everyone hanging. The only glimmer of hope was the phrase "has taken steps to preserve its immediate capital utilisation", suggesting in typically vague terms that the BoD are tightening the purse strings and hopefully deferring their salaries until this whole financing fiasco has been sorted, if indeed it ever does get resolved. Increasingly, the Sareum directors are being made to look like a bunch of rank amateurs, what with a seemingly abandoned HQ, TM holding shareholder meetings with a squeaky chair soundtrack, and crucially a distinct lack of commercial nous. I have held for ten years, but patience is wearing thin I'm sorry to say.
Forgot to say, thanks also to PCS, Andy, Krone, et al. for taking the time out today to perhaps crystallize a plan of action, should things deteriorate further. Hopefully, news will be forthcoming soon re: 1801/SRA 737/financing from our esteemed BoD.
With the US Federal Reserve signaling a probable reduction in interest rates over the coming months, and therefore an easing in the credit markets, I'm hopeful that things might soon be easier for Sareum with respect to raising funds. Any thoughts?
Feels that way, Warty. I have visions of Tim running around in circles with fingers in both ears, uttering incoherent noises as the clamor for action grows all around him. I really couldn't have mismanaged this better myself - and I would've done it for free!
No one in their right mind would be selling now, except RiverFort. The BoD need to wake up and address the whole financing issue. Their silence on this matter, and their lack of urgency, I'm finding completely unacceptable and disrespectful. What in heaven's name are they playing at? Get a grip!
Not convinced Sareum will still be around to convene an AGM (usually in December). An EGM is what we need.
"Topline results" are not due until Q2 2024, according to last Tuesday's RNS. So, we could be looking at June at the latest. I just hope some positive news re: financing is released sooner than that, otherwise God help the sp.
