It's been flogged to death but hopefully things will pick up again soon.

All the bad PR that the doubters can throw at bitcoin has been in the last two weeks. The big II's are slowly changing their view.

Look at the GME squeeze, WSB destroyed the MM's on Friday because they didn't understand what the PIs can achieve working together.

By this time next month hopefully the first upgrade will be completed and Argo will be in a far stronger position. At 30k the margins should be mega, not to mention the fact that the money from options, warrants and placings can be used to offset mining costs and HODL more bitcoin.

Still so many people focusing on really fine details. For me it boils down to mining as many bitcoin as we can whilst the margins are good then HODL.

Look at the charts and zoom out. Either you believe in bitcoin or you don't IMO.

I'm slightly disappointed myself over this weekends performance.

I thought I had got a great deal on some Mara last week but possibly went in too early.

Such is life, plenty time for a recovery.

The only thing that concerns me with this, is if we end up burning through the cash reserves waiting for the pandemic to ease - there is no guarantee this will happen anytime soon.

Monday morning will be interesting, short term our eggs look to be all in the Welsh Gold basket?

Regarding the Welsh gold premium, there are many industries where a premium product maintains its premium by limiting sales.

Take whisky for example - a 18yo single cask sells for £150, they maintain this premium by selling 1000 bottles. Any whisky left over goes into a younger malts to bring their age average up.

I would imagine that a % of gold will be sold under the brand, with the rest sold to the spot market as and when prices are suitable or accounts require settled.

By limiting the premium gold everyone wins - this is where the jeweller JV would come into play IMO. They are the only people who receive gold under contract with a legal providence guarantee.

Could be totally wrong, just seems silly thinking that we times all gold mined by your preferred multiple.

I would imagine the gold sold at a premium will account for a higher % initially and slide as it becomes more available, thereby driving demand for a luxury product.

Options warrants drying up along with a rise in BTC is my guess.

The derampers have had their day - I would imagine most of them filled their boots and will now miraculously have only good things to say as we rise again.

Pressure building on L2 and US coming online shortly.

Buys massively outweighing sells again.

Only thing keeping us out of the top 5 by volume are the big names tanking. Wouldn't be surprised if we are up there again by close of play.

I'm going to pick through all the RNS today and double check my figures, I think I have a rough idea of whats outstanding but I'm not sure when they can be exercised.

P.S if anyone has done this already I would appreciate some figures to double check against!

Looking at the volume, hopefully the options and warrants from today have cleared for now.

Assuming that no more warrants are exercised in the next week or two, and that bitcoin can edge back up over the weekend, I hope this will be the turning point.

At this price we will be attractive to new and old investors alike - we are in a better position for the year now than we were a few weeks ago.

I know I won't be on the sidelines.

Do some research into Argo & it's competition and then invest on those findings.

Bitcoin and Argo obviously have a strong correlation at present.

People are panicking that bitcoin is at 30k. I repeat, people are panicking that 1 bitcoin is worth 30k.

All the sceptics have thrown EVERYTHING they have at this, all the fear, all the doubt - it hasn't worked.

30k is big for Argo, they can pay the bills and HODL even more. When the day comes that bitcoin touches a million, how many do you think they will have in the bank? 1000? 5000?

That's why I'm here, it's my chance at getting in on a future institution at the ground floor.

This is a forward looking company, in a growing sector, that actually produces something.

I can still see a consolidation, I'm usually dubious but I think it would help lift Argo.

3 for 1 would put us at roughly 120 million(?) Shares issued.

Lift SP to about 3$

Make us more attractive to US investors? They seem to have a very suspicious view of anything classed as penny stock.

I'm sure that the BOD has a plan for when the time is right. IMO it is a card to be played with caution, play it too late and the SP may be too high and limit the potential ceiling.

IDKWTF the chances of this happening are.

There will be plenty with deep pockets sitting on the sidelines, in this game you move with the times or get left behind.

I remain hopeful that a good run over the weekend will thin out the experts who have kindly and repeatedly warned us that Alba is doomed - funny they weren't able to predict the meteoric rise unlike yourself and a few others.

The volume the last weeks has been amazing.

Consistently in the top 5 nearly every day for the whole of the LSE.

Buying outstripping sells by millions.

Once the warrants are all through and the easy stream of shares is dry, where do you think they will turn? They are being bulk bought for a reason.

Seems to be two conflicting sides as always, its either not a problem or a very big problem.

Can anyone with some knowledge put it in neutral layman's terms so we can make our own minds up? I've no idea about accounting requirements but I would imagine not complying isn't the best signal for a fintech company.

Seems the chaos of today has slightly subsided.

BTC has retested 33k and rebounded nicely.

News / explanation of the last few days inbound tomorrow according to Peter Wall on twitter. Warrants and placings clear for now by close UK on Friday if my memory serves me, don't recall seeing anything past the 22nd?

Should give the US market time to digest, hopefully a rally in both BTC and SP as close for the weekend approaches.

Monday we wake up to a new dawn, hopefully the start of more settled waters and a thinning of the derampers as we take stock of where we are.

The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster! Plenty ups, a few loops and this week has seen a small retrace down to the 80p placing level.

Let's not forget where we were just a month ago, we have additional capacity inbound & now the further expansion. If the stars align and bitcoin continues the bull run we will be in an enviable position - not to mention any other schemes that the Argo team may be cooking up as we speak.
