The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
We’re always close to ‘starting’ the farm-out process. Hopefully E.G will be different…
With Serenity, EOG changed the mind of I3E where to drill, if I remember correctly. Just wondering if this has brought in tension between them. Who knows, but that thought just came to me when reading all the chat today. We will never know… maybe!
I’m glad to see the 2 year extension for our Irish asset this morning, and with the next general election March ‘25, gives us hope that the green will be out. Think Sinn Fein will do well and this is their thoughts about energy in Ireland https://vote.sinnfein.ie/long-awaited-energy-security-review-finally-published-darren-orourke-td/
BBC Countryfile at 6pm, talking about uk oil and gas and mention Wressle and lots about on/ off shore oil and gas production. About 20 mins in.
Very good link and an interesting insight into Mayo community council. It’s the kind of pressure that is required though. So did it read it right that if not approved by the Irish government by November EOG will pull out of this?
Just thinking this… And if EOG pulls out the Irish government could hand this over to someone else with more of an Irish connection? It’s now clear why we brought Brian O Cathain on board, as looks like that the only chance we have bringing this through. October going to be a nervous month for us LTH.
Don’t know what GEMD twitted that today and not when they put it on their website.
About time.
“Gem Diamonds is pleased to announce the recovery of an impressive 163.9 carat yellow diamond at the Letšeng diamond mine in Lesotho.”
Thanks Wraith for posting the link. So many positives, and just need a farm out in Ireland over the next few months and so many pieces of the jigsaw for EOG will join together. I bought more first thing on Friday, with a dividend I received the day before. Will carry on doing this with future dividends I receive from other companies, as win reward could be massive. AIMHO :-)
CFQ… I managed to get £1.5k up for a couple of days before Serenity… was a long 12 ish years and then gone again. It’s always a thought with EOG… should I throw good money, after bad. Generally I never do, unless I see something in a RNS. With AIM, we as small investors, always hear after the news ( good or bad) and very rarely get the full picture of what’s going on within the company. AIMHO :-)
Was just reading that about EDR… wonder if their shareholders are happy with that!
Someone said last week our results are out 2nd November… so could be some leaky, leaky stuff happening today in these ‘paid lunches’.
Mistakes below :-( changes and 6am
The Irish government at present knows they’re on borrowed time. They can’t lose the greens at present, so will just fluff about the gas issue. The majority of people under 60 in Ireland want them out, and they’re hanging by a thread. Just last week to try and chance younger people’s view about them, they said nightclubs can stay open till 6pm from the New Year. Irish government dealing with the ‘important’ issues as always. First weekend the nightclubs are open to this time would be a perfect time for a 1am blackout!!
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but you have to asked why EOG needed to get involved with this drill? A year of just collecting Wressle money, building up the bank balance and then seeing what is available, working on other assets rather than massively diluting this. We were sitting at 3.8p before this dilution was ask for. We probably be at 5p giving lots of LTH the chance to pull out if they wanted. It’s LTH that’s lost out here. Most of the share options the directors had would have been activated during the last few months too.
I really don’t know what the end game for EOG is? If the drill was a success we all know more dilution would happen, and with years before getting a payday for it, would have given us other problems.
That’s £1m ‘loan’ should have been cancelled this morning straight away, as we have no need for it with the £2.4m we get back for this drill and the few million we have from Wressle. But I’m sure we will come up with another ‘bright’ idea with how to spend the money. AIMHO
Ryan taking about gas in Ireland. https://www.rte.ie/news/2022/0919/1324129-energy-security-review/
Best interview he has given. Very positive throughout (even with Ireland) and my God this share could go through the roof… I don’t see a limit to it, if everything falls into place. Been a tough 12 years, but seeing the light brighter that ever. Good luck all LTH’s over the next six weeks :-)
Well, that was a massive buy at the end at 2.52p… looks very good for tomorrow :-)
Just shows how much the pound fell in June. Wonder if that’s the ‘common person’ fault as well :-(
Got a small div payment today from GEMD on top of the payment I received in June. About 10% of the original dividend payment. Anyone know what this is about?
