Excellent stuff and finally :-) be disappointed if we don’t hit 2p today as got to be rerated in some way. The great thing about this is more monthly income, so the SP should continue to climb higher and hopefully not fall back again. If only we could now secure a wee farm out :-)
So EOG MC is roughly 3 years production at Wressle from June with oil prices at $70 a barrel. It’s a long wait, but glad is finally here. If only we did a few other drills since I invested about 10 years ago, who knows where the share price would be. Here hoping we received other news soon on our other ‘areas’ and we might see ‘old timers’ like myself receiving shareholding value :-)
Wonder what are shares are worth in UKOG now... that’s was a good move? I’m feeling more positive for some reason with EOG, so much buy a few more next week. Has to be some news about Ireland soon, as they need the gas big time and have to start now as 2025 is fast approaching.
Bought a few k when GEMD was in the 30-40p, so break even for me is around 83p. Heading in the right direction and let’s hope a few ‘large ones’ over the coming weeks. GEMD have had previous about large stone finds after results, so let hope this pattern happens again. IMO :-)
MrBond, diamond prices have a lot to do with the last few years, so a steady increase in demand will work on GEMD favour. The past is the past and for me, just looking forward. Been in GEMD for about 10 years, so I also know what your mean.
Happy with that after a very strange 2020 and to get a dividend too is a step forward. Onwards and upwards IMO
I remember that dividend too and GEMD added a wee special dividend... those were the days :-)
Sorry about the spelling in my post there. Happy Friday in lockdown Scotland :-)
Totally agree with the dividend, as that’s how the bod have let down shareholders over the year. The massive stone found and sold for $46m should have been filtered back to us shareholders. Going forward price should double from here in 2021, and when it does will think about selling, if dividends are not a realistic. It’s a massive shame, but to many fingers getter their cut in profits. All this is just my opinion:-)
I’ll never understand why RNS’s are not released after every large find. They stopped this in 2018 as they were finding too many ‘large ones’.

A 143 carat high quality white Type II diamond recovered at Letšeng on 5 September 2020, which follows the recovery of the 442 and the 233 carat diamonds and highlights the strong operational performance at Letšeng in these difficult times.

It’s all these local projects that they do to help the locals out, like building a police station, if my memory serves me right. Could understand if the share price was going up and paying a dividend to us poor shareholder, but it’s times are so hard keep the money in the business IMHO
Message from twitter - A 105 carat light brown type II diamond recovered at Letšeng on 18 May 2020. This follows the recovery of a 208 carat diamond of low quality in the previous week.
Once Wressle is online it’s down $30 a barrel
I would say Inishkea is the exact gas supply Ireland requires and they need it more than ever with this brexit saga. It’s not EOG fault that some ‘minor majors’ got cold feet and don’t see this as they are looking in other areas. EOG fault is showing the market to much info for a share issue at the time (which the institution investors demanded). Dunners, there are many of people invested in EOG (including yourself...) and the last thing shareholder want to see is a ‘lol‘ and told you so etc etc, when we are down 25% on the day in the first 30 mins, never mind shareholder that bought this at the highs of 48p many years ago. It’s common sense just to keep quiet and watch what happens. Just my thoughts :-)
Just quickly as out and about. Worth £2m a year to EOG. We more than double our barrels of oil daily and we are priced at 1.9p now so double that gives you just 3.8p. Lots more to do with this than that. But just a quick answer :-)
Bought some more there as in my eyes nothing has changed from yesterday. Was always hoping the FO would happen, but no way was that priced to go down 25%. Wressle is worth at least 3-4p when in production, so this will rise sooner rather than later and another company wanting to drill iniskea, hopefully come to the forefront. AIMHO :-)
Think most of us thought this might happen, but always hoping. Just glad Wressle came out before this, as gives the share price a base. Think the board have to start being proactive with the share price, but this should have been years ago. We have invested millions into Ireland with no guarantees anything would be ‘sold’. Very risky, but it is AIM. AIMHO :-)
