Does anyone else notice how the share price is being propped up at 64p (1280), the value that Mercedes was guaranteed?

It's still doing doughnut turns around 64p.(old money and where Mercedes had been given their share valuation)
How soon do you reckon before it starts moving up?
After the next results maybe

It might well be market manipulation.
It was previously kept at 50p in old money before being released like a coiled spring.
This time it is hovering around 64p in old money which is where Mercedes were to be paid a penalty amount if the share price was below it.
My memory may be a little fuzzy but that was the gist of it.

I'm a long term holder but I'm wondering, why the drift downwards lately?
All the latest news gives a lot of hope for the future but still it goes into reverse.

I love how the writer of that Daily Mail, This is Money article, gushes on and on about the success of glorious Rolls Royce the past year. Then, almost as a footnote, mentions that another luxury carmaker, Aston Martin, also had a good year.

I've never liked Autocar and less so now that it's printing unsubstantiated heresay.
Auto express is much better and can normally be trusted to publish reasonable opinion.

To answer my own question, I've just read on a news release this evening that a German based semiconductor maker has warned there will be a microchip shortage which may last into 2022.
This explains why car makers shares dropped today.

Why the downwards drift the past couple of weeks? Isn't it about due for lift off?

Would be nice if the share price could stabilize above the old £1 by Easter.

I own Aston Martin shares. They have a deal with Mercedes to use their EV technology.
I'd like to buy into Tesla in the new tax year and maybe B.A.T. I'm keeping an eye on them just now.

I have a Halifax trading account so I'm not sure how I complete the W-8ben form, prior to trading US stock but I guess I could call and ask them

There are about a dozen posts filtered from yesterday so that shows that the system works to get rid of the clowns.
