The Mail newspaper appears to overlook the positives and strengths in their agenda to put a negative spin on things.
They could have equally written a good news story to support the legendary British company but for reasons best known to them, chose not to.
Ben Harrington has written an article in today's Finance section.
He quotes James Congdon, a broker at Cannacord Genuity, who reckons the company is a vulnerable equity and may need to raise capital for a forth time.
Shorters have also increased their position.
Aston Martin have denied that they need or expect to raise capital.
That didn't stop the paper running it's company bashing story though.
There is no doubt Aston Martin have a really sexy line up of models in the production pipeline and a focussed leadership team to make it happen.
Hopefully that translates to many keen buyers lining up to take delivery.
The resulting profits should keep us shareholders happy.
It might well be market manipulation.
It was previously kept at 50p in old money before being released like a coiled spring.
This time it is hovering around 64p in old money which is where Mercedes were to be paid a penalty amount if the share price was below it.
My memory may be a little fuzzy but that was the gist of it.
I love how the writer of that Daily Mail, This is Money article, gushes on and on about the success of glorious Rolls Royce the past year. Then, almost as a footnote, mentions that another luxury carmaker, Aston Martin, also had a good year.
Stroll always comes across as well spoken and very optimistic about the future.
It's reassuring listening to this. I bought into his vision of great riches in the years ahead.
