The biggest copper project was taken on well into C19 NtMU (1 June 2020) - The fact is, time and time again CB has shown a lack of respect to shareholders. I do actually agree with TW in terms of an open offer if dilution is a must. Why did he not take this route, I imagine it's more work than he could be bothered with.

Let's be frank, this is a bit of a hobby to CB, he doesn't need the cash - The 11e6 shares he holds in this company are, literally, peanuts to him. Does he want this company to be a success? I imagine so, but I also imagine it's more out of ego than caring what happens to Pi's and their hard earned...

If you were not, literally, years behind your schedule Mr. Bird, if you had not taken on projects we are not in a position to develop, we would not be in this mess.....

Today's raise further shores my opinion that you cannot believe a word that comes out of CB's mouth. He would have been fully aware of TW's comments regarding a raise and he still went on to say, on record, that he had no idea why the SP had dropped. Waiting a few weeks for the dust to settle Colin does not change the fact that price sensitive news has been leaked and had benefitted certain holders (X-holders)

TW seems to have know well in advance, how did he know? - I really hope that it didn't come from CB himself in an offline convo. Surely something for the FCA to investigate.....

I still don't see the need for a placement. OK, we're not flush with cash but our greatest need for cash would be to fulfill our responsivity to drill in aus . That deal is yet to be ratified by government, should have ben Aug I believe, so we have a bit of breathing space there...

I do agree Andrew however, I'm also very much aware of how slack CB can be in terms of timescales.

If he is slack in getting kit over the border, and the C19 cases jump back up following the border opening I'm sure they will be shut down pretty sharpish and our chance will be lost for, possibly, months!

SA borders closing down again would be very bad news! - I really do hope CB & MMP are preparing to get the kit transported VERY early October!

As the company begins to pop back up on peoples radar I imagine there will be lots more of this going on. The sharks will arrive on the BB and it will become plastered with ramps/de-ramps/rhetoric

I was, initially, dismissive of copper plays however, it Seems CB may have called it right:

Either way with XTR being in both copper & gold 2021 looks like it will, finally, come together here....

Fully in agreement Andrew. I can recall several separate interviews where CB has mentioned it will take 4-5 months to get up and running. On top of that, it's my personal view, that it will take a month or two, on top of that, to optimise the plant and reach the cash targets some are starting.

After so many years stuck in this share, it feels not too long to wait!

I get the feeling TW and CB have had a falling out and TW has, successfully, decided to shaft CB & XTR. I see no reason for a cash call unless CB has spotted another deal he wants to buy in on.

If there is no placing CB needs to wash his hands of TW - There's plenty of other outlets to give interviews to!

Could be that - He did warn CB he'd 'get cross' if a, potential, placing wasn't offered to PI's.

Saying that, I can;t see why CB would do a placing near term. We are so close to meaningful income...

Better News:
Mozambique will lift the state of emergency to the spread of coronavirus this weekend, President Filipe Nyusi announced in a television address on Friday.

Nyusi said the state of emergency would end Sunday night as infections have not increased much compared to neighbouring countries in the region.

“We are proud of the measures we have taken that have allowed the spread of the disease to be contained,” said President Nyusi.

It will also re-open its borders on Monday allowing international flights and beaches will also re-open while religious services of up to 250 people will be allowed.
