The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I'm sure he sit there buying and selling on that front.. Only Leveraged PI Mug Punters who sit around worrying about such things. News or no news ,any investment need more than a month or so, people get bored sell out (at a loss).. then spend the next 10 years boring their mates about the one that got away etc .. Time lines here are not 10 years plus - personally i think there will be some news - simply because there's a pipeline of events, 3 blockbusters in a month(more than you would expect in 2 years) and 2 weeks later BB's get bored and all is lost till Jan. No wonder 75% lose money
Thanks Gwn - that was the quickest install and transfer i've ever done .. Probably going to clear out my bank account , but thanks anyway :)
Gwm - Many Thanks - Ill try that - Driving me nuts
Rollover Tricky
The Ads on this site are getting so annoying !! Shame ADVFN is full of Lunatics .. Agree talk of dividend is off a wall at the moment. Happy to sit here and wait for the next news or update..Researched this to death now .. So much in the pipeline to update on GLA
More intriguing is that revenue jumped by 90k in a or 70%!single month
One thing that I am eagerly anticipating is the update on Cirt in the US at last count 97 test just when it was starting to get juicy ..approx $225K at 90% gross margin. 4 months to update and BUPA not even rolling yet- If they have added 15 a month the company will be bringing in $4miil + a year from the start of this financial year 1 Oct 23-24
Hi Did - well worth watching all the presentations back to 2021 - Give a real prospective on where we are now (and the disparity in SP from then) PSE is Hugest of the huge. Companies values in the multi billions haven't managed to do this in decades of trying Abbots etc.. My biggest concern is that this is a complete fraud TBH.. which is why I keep reading over and over , going back as far a possible .. just grateful the market is so bad.. got alot of these now
Its just a thought - must to chomping at the bit to get out there with PSE.
Also - I think the spread has been weird for a week, as was some of the movement prior, coupled with that updated presentation - I gets the whiff of a placing @35p ish. May be wrong, but would make good sense to boost the coffers with say £10 million now. Any dilution would be irrelevant, this market is only worried about cash and where its going to come from. Being cash heavy would increase the valuation more than any dilution could reduce it IMO ..I would support it
Morning All, I don't think advertising as such would have any impact, I would be great to see the bbc /ITV run a section of this now it available, but I suppose its highly likely that those who are in the medical position to use such a test already know about it. its the commercial side and changing of processes that take time, just as been seen with Cirt, but its moving now..By chance this morning I was talking to a friend use has just had high PSA, want aware of PSE, I've given him the link and he's going to raise it with his GP.. My money on the next big move for OBD is for Cirt . BUPA was big news .. The next is a deal with a US hospital group IMO - Its the logical step (probably east cost) got the insurers , got the consultants , Now get the first Hospital group
Morning Dug
Agree, Cirt is potentially huge and will be a big cash cow for OBD IMO, I think this alone is works multiples of the current market cap and BUPA Endorsement underwrights that. These tools are worth more than cures, no drugs/ no 10 year clnincal trials, huge margins etc..and not pie in the sky anymore. Real products
This is key ..
PSA
10 in 20 Men with High or Low PSA get the correct diagnosis
PSE
19 in 20 Men with High or Low PSA get the correct diagnosis
PSA
15 in 20 with high PSA (.4NG) are Negative for cancer after invasive biopsy
PSE
1 in 20 with a positive PSE (.4NG) would be Negative for cancer after invasive biopsy
From the presentation.
Adverse Events Documented from Prostate Biopsy Studies
• 40% of men experience a complication from a prostate biopsy procedure.7
• 9.1% of men ended up visiting an Emergency Department after the procedure.7
• 6.9% of men are hospitalized within 30-days of biopsy. Prostate biopsy is associated
with a significant increased risk of hospitalization, serious infectious and noninfectious complications.8
• Rectal bleeding = 45%9
• Hematospermia = 65.8%10
• Incontinence = 6.7%7
• Erectile dysfunction = 8%-33%11
• Despite antimicrobial prophylaxis, infectious complications are increasing over time
and are the most common reason for hospitalization after biopsy.12
• Biopsy mortality is rare but can occur.13
- 0.1% (6 of every 6000 procedures results in death, within 120 days post biopsy).13
PSE and MRI will give best in class treatment PSE alone give best in class in all but one senario.
I know the advfn / LSE are full of people talking balls about "BIG PHARMA" etc, but I can't believe there isn't some serious big players interested in this product .. it's one of the longest lasting primitive diagnostic issues solved, it's huge ..
With reference to my post on numbers of CiRT - The US has grown with a very small team
The news with BUPA will bring the company close to Breakeven IMO, maybe even protiable.
The Big quess is how many tests per month would BUPA enabled consultant use in both of the use cases in the RNS below ?
Under this new agreement between Bupa and OBD , Bupa health insurance customers who are being considered for immunotherapy with an anti-PD-1/L1 ICI will be offered the CiRT test, ensuring their doctor receives state-of-the-art personalized guidance to inform their treatment plan. The partnership underscores the shared vision of Bupa and OBD to improve the quality of patient care, while sparing many individuals from unwarranted side effects from ICI treatments that are ineffective for them.
The CiRT test will also be available to doctors considering treating Bupa customers with an ICI, where decisions need to be made in the face of potential serious illness and lack of response to treatment.
I think the important point is not to forget CIRT.. It will be the revenue driver for some time a PSE follows its path from start up - PSE is slighlty different though.. as it much earlier in the lifecycle - Almost at GP level .. In one of the webinars its is explained in detail about the issues faced to get the attention of leading consultants - "They've heard it all before" and dont have the time to listen to endless sales pitches
I put this together for my own research
Cirt Achieved an all time high of 19 tests in November 22 Less than a year ago a month after getting the Medicare code, achieving a reimbursement on $2000-$2500 per test since then the following progress has been made in 8 Months

Total Growth in 8 months 410%
Jul Aug Sept still to be updated – What s important is the that the current growth curve is not linear its currenlty exponential
Afternoon
Personally I think we will get an update quite soon FY was up 30 Sept - last update on Cirt was and of August but only up to June figures - and there quite a fast changing situation - as it's stands a final 1/4 of figures to update. Certainly don't expect snoozeville on the news front either .. However investor been spoilt over the last month.. 3 blockbuster RNS in as many weeks leaves you wanting more !!! GLA
I think something has changed with the AT system over the last year - any trade below a level (tiny trades) are done at almost full BID /ASK - BB's are full of rumours and codes etc , but that's a load of rubbish - it's just back office , fat finger and minor execution errors correcting themselves
