What irony? You made it clear that it was a hypothetical question (who in their right mind would think that the company could secure a £10M order in the first place)
Obviously the share price would reflect this, and obviously being able to achieve this order would mean having to have a commercially viable product, which at the moment is purely hypothetical at the moment, so the irony is actually that there are two hypotheticals at play here......
I do sometimes wonder why you are so heavily emotionally invested here that you post in the way you do......
B3
Take a look at yourself.......you're beginning to look like a conspiracy theorist loon.....haven't you quite twigged that neither I, or anyone else really cares about whether I know what a membrane, catalyst, electrode or whatever is, only you.....
JN
what precisely are you on about? If the company were to announce that it had an order to deliver £10M worth of product on commercially viable terms then OF COURSE that would have a positive effect on share price, and OF COURSE I would be absolutely delighted. The problem is, though, in order to even get such an order, the company would need to be able to demonstrate that it actually has a commercially viable product that can actually deliver what it says on the tin, which, to date it has spectacularly failed to do.
If you recall, way back in the day, the initial; idea was that the fuel cell offering was meant to be an on demand supply, which would act as a mechanism that could turn a non on demand energy supply (electricity from renewables) into an on demand supply....which would be very elegant......Turbine > electrolyser > H2 > fuel cell > electricity...absolutely lovely and as green as green can be.
From these dizzying heights of aspiration, we now have very modest units that aren't capable of producing anything of note without the aid of a battery storage add on, meaning that the unit has effectively gone from one demand to what is to all intents and purposes, a trickle charger. This change in tack is in fact quite material, and fundamentally alters the nature of the offering, not that anyone in the uber camp is likely to either have noticed, or be prepared to admit it.
If and when the company gets a commercially viable order, then I'll be the first to say well done, but until the company passes that acid test, then I'm afraid the jury must surely be out.......
Oh, and B3..........broken record time again........you really are starting to sound like an obsessive loon.....there's no evidence to support your contention that I don't know how one of these things works, so I must have deleted something.... how about something that shoots down your contention was found and mysteriously deleted....cuts both ways fella.....
JN.
Before getting all hissy because someone says something you can’t disprove, why not have a detailed look at all of the RNS releases over the last 10 years and find just one thing that’s been released with great fanfare that’s actually been delivered as sold to the mug punters……
At the point that the company actually delivers something concrete I might just cut it a bit of slack, but until then, it’s business as usual, as much as you don’t like it….
How about trying something different and actually debating a subject for once…..
B3 / Pommygit
I have no need or intention to report, what would that achieve? Quite happy to have the tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber tag team show themselves up…..
Oh, I’ll say it for you, to save you time…..I don’t know the difference between an electrode and a membrane….as if…..
Ooooo…..touched a nerve there then……give me a valid counter argument then big boy…….
You simply sound like a bloke who bet the house on the wrong nag because the trainer told you it was going to win the national and now you’re railing against those who suggest that the nag might in fact be proto dog food…..
How underwater must you be to be this angry…..
It seems pretty irrefutable that the holy grail (always worries me when someone uses that phrase) of an IP protected piece of unique technology is some way off.
The company is using proprietary parts to build its kit, and therefore doesn’t really have a unique place in the market to exploit, certainly for the foreseeable future.
Now, if H2 is the next big thing, how confident are the investors that the company could survive an attack from larger companies with heavily financed R&D departments and more importantly very deep pockets, if H2 was to become anything other than a niche product, and one of these such companies decided that they wanted a slice of the pie (if not the whole pie, (Phillips VHS v Betamax, anyone?)
Alkamem…..of course it “works” and it’s “working” right now. The problem is that in all probability it’s not actually working in a commercially viable way, so, Garonne, in the parallel universe of grasping at any straw, I’m afraid that B3 (oh, sorry, Pommygit) is actually quite correct, and you are so very very wrong.
However, in the real world, it’s plain to see that commerciality if indeed it’s ever achieved will be a long, long way off. The sad fact is that, because the company is less than transparent about any of its performance metrics, we will never know the status of ANY of its products, which of course gives the Ubers scope for hope, and the paid bashing Helikon scum cause to doubt any words that come out of the company PR department, or the mouth of its CEO…NO WONDER THE MARKET IS SCEPTICAL….(not shouting, caps lock on)
Don't you just love it! Ginge makes out that he's able to trace the URL of posters and when pointed out that if he does, then he'll find that the gang of four aren't all the same person (as per the uber loons conspiracy theory),after all..... the post mysteriously disappears!
Funny, that.....
Yes indeed, really good post, showing that Geopura have a 250KW fuel cell up and running, and have it in place for a high profile event.......look on the bright side, it might just raise the profile of hydrogen enough to generate interest in the amazing towers of power (which are of course absolutely fine, so long as you don't want to boil more than three kettles at once!)
Bondy
And there you have it.......Bond says he met the tax obligations on the share exercise.....I suggest you look up the tax obligations on the exercise of share options issued under an approved EMI and then tell me EXACTLY what the point of that statement was.
B£
A bit like you not knowing what cumulative output means then......I know whet cumulative output means, ABB know whet cumulative output means.......but it is, I'm afraid, the £2.0.M question that you failed to have grasped the answer to......
You crack on about the difference between membranes and electrodes all you want, I know the difference, you know I know the difference, and all you are achieving by continually quoting the same untruth is to make yourself look like a complete loon.....And no doubt you'll spout on about not going to the AGM, not paying to listen to yesterday's drivel and so on, and so on....
Hahahaha!
It's a subscription event.....so all of you acolytes actually had to pay to hear your glorious leader do what he does best, which is tell the crowd what they want to hear....you couldn't make it up! Talk about preaching to the converted....very convenient that no one outside the loop is likely to see the actual verbatim Q&A, so the whole thing is totally valueless to the outside world.
Reminds me of the modus operandi of a confidence trickster " I'll let you into a secret......here's something that will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams....but don't tell anyone (remotely sensible in case they laugh at you) or they will all want a slice of the action.....I've already got a slice of the action thanks.....unfortunately.....
It's just to show that anyone can post an equivalent to the uber's usual "bump" tool.....Take a step back, have a look at the content and highlight anything that can actually be proven as incorrect.
You lot keep posting the "Bump" twaddle and it may be that there will be a counter post forthcoming......
Sadly, there are a number of posters on this board who are consistently overly positive about the prospects of the company relentlessly posting every day, trying to bouy up a share that has been in decline for some considerable period of time through a mixture of overly optimistic interpretations of statements made by the company, partial truths, and misrepresentations. They put vast amounts of effort into stifling any voice that doesn’t accord with their view of the company’s prospects, relying on YOUR ignorance to affect your investment decisions.
These posters never accept any possible downside and their sole agenda is to maintain the illusion that this company is a valid investment candidate. It is unlikely that they are in the employ of anyone, because in all seriousness, from the quality of posts, most would seem unemployable, so why they continue with this charade is a mystery. The most likely cause for this irrational behaviour is that they have become too emotionally attached to the share and simply cannot allow themselves to believe that the share of their choice, which many may have spend money they can ill afford to lose, may not ultimately deliver the untold riches that they believe we once theirs for the taking.
The ting to remember is that, as a potential new investor, if you don’t invest, you miss out on a possible windfall in future (assuming that the company is able to deliver on its aspirations) but your money is not at risk. Invest in the company, and whilst there possibly maybe a profit to be had later, YOUR MONEY IS NOW AT RISK. These posters are potentially very dangerous to your wealth, if they wish to keep the faith, and keep their money at risk, then that’s fine, ask yourself, is it correct for them to paint an overly optimistic view of the company’s prospects just to keep the fantasy alive when it could encourage the unwary to invest in something that has been subject to an unjustified level of positive spin on a board? If you do feel like taking the plunge, you would be well advised to consider what they say very carefully, and if you do choose to invest, only invest what you can easily afford to lose.
