There is a 7am rns with price and placing. They can’t be this stupid and with 8% odd shorts still open, it would start the process of them closing them I would hope

If they don’t do a placing price then surly the price drops til some one sees wither value or the floor price of the share raise. It normally puts a floor under he share price does it not ?

I listened to all of the call and the last questions was asking about it and the price etc and he was cut short and was told the call had over run and time to close it. Only part said in consultation with shareholders, thought that was very strange. They are not stupid enough to know it will be a blood bath if they do not release the rns tomorrow to say done deal

How can they not name price now as they said they are going to do it. Surly it will suppress the price until it is done ?

But they have not set a price or hen they are going to do it ? unless I have missed it, does that not led to either more confusing ?

they are doing it so both the USA & UK can be on the call / conference at sensible hours. If they did it at 7am uk time it would be middle of the night n the USA

Metro Bank announces c.£350m standby underwrite and intention to release preliminary results today

Metro Bank today announces that it has entered into a standby underwrite agreement with RBC Capital Markets, Jefferies and KBW for a c.£350m equity raise. The transaction is expected to be launched in the first half of 2019 after consultation with shareholders.

In order to accommodate investors in North America and Europe the bank will be announcing its 2018 preliminary results, updated strategy for the medium-term and its 2019 capital plans after the market close today.

shares, that's over am months trading at todays share volume, so they are not going to have been gobbled up already.
unless they are going to sell some to the shooters as 8% of the existing shorts of 8% is about 7.6 million shares. so that's would help in 2 ways for us

discount on yesterday close at the moment ? when would it have been agreed and done deal ?
and dropped 11.54% from days high, can't be much more of a drop left in this please god 8k wiped out as I was about to start selling some

but then if there is a fund raise then the price will drop and they would be better to buy back them back tomorrow, not today ? unless 1370's is the discounted amount based on the price at 3.30 today ?
