all the big banks ad building societies have branches in most towns and if it was a TO then they would want to cut costs and close branches etc which is the opposite of what Metro is all about, can only see it going with another challenger bank to small BS that want to increase its foot print in areas that metro have branches and they do not. Or get into more business accounts etc which building societies are not well known for

stock - we hit the years low today 885.00 bounced back nearly 2% but that's still another 1.9% down on the day ffs

was little concerned when it went 7.95 with 30ins to go, but what a bounce

6 out of the last 50 ( up to 4.18 ) were off book, lot less than recently, also they were not for large amounts either

Plus500's Board has approved a programme to buy back an initial amount of up to $10 million of the Company's shares in accordance with the authority granted at the Company's AGM. With effect from today, the Company has appointed Liberum Capital Limited ("Liberum") to manage an irrevocable, non-discretionary share buy-back programme to repurchase on its behalf, and within certain parameters.

There has been 25 rns in purchasing their own shares, if you say an average of 30,000 per rns and 11.00 ( yes finger in the air ) that would equate to around 750,000 shares and £8.25mil so maybe around £1.5 - £2m left. At todays price saying 1.75mil left that would be another 217,391 shares using (8.05 average price)

Agree, and as it was an after lunch trade teleported after hours I would probably say they were sells as the price got smashed down early afternoon. Hopefully some trying to play games and out their short, rather than adding to a short

last update 1/3 which means non were increased or decreased yesterday along as the tracker I am looking at has updated the 3.30 update

in a day, with only 261,470 shares traded I am assuming it should not be able to be shunted around this much without help from MM or is that just BS from 2% up to 3% down. 5% plus swings almost daily, with very very litte shares traded?

my average is 1389 after topping up my cfd with a further 1000 which brought it down by £1
they have said they placing will be in the first half of the year, so maybe it will be April along with the results.

just wish we could get over 820/820 and hold it then back to the 850 and again hold, frustrating it can't get out of this 780-810 range and having the same first 30min pattern. The day that I try to play it, I know it won't drop back so sitting on my hands and getting frustrated
