Dude, they raised the money already. That's why it had to be done by the AGM. So they could raise the money earlier. Which they did. Not so they could complete the sale by the AGM. There has been no suggestion from the company that this needs to be finished by the AM and tbh I don't expect it to be.

Again, they raised the EGM rather than wait 2 months for the AM in order to get this done 2 months quicker. But that doesn't mean it will be done before the AGM.

I was one of the ppl who said at the time SXX was likely to fail, but EUA's could not be further from where SXX were.

In fact, I think the only reason to bring up SXX is to try to scare people.

Reminder - SXX had no revenue, huge accumulated losses and were fast running out of cash. None of that applies here.

I previously expected 2021 net profits to be about $9M. Now I think it's over $12M, based on approx 2890 boepd average for the year (it was 2600 but have added 505 for the last 7 months) and $65 per barrel average for the year. This could well (pun) go up even more if prices continue to climb and we increase production in another 2 months.

Grossly undervalued here.

Thornback, I make current boepd between 3000 and 3200.

If every buy had an equal sell then the sp would never move.

Buyers buy from MMs who might have to borrow shares to complete the trade. They just need someone to sell at some point, not necessarily today (maybe they accumulated earlier). Keeping the price low encourages more PIs to sell than having the sp rise.

BUT, it's a dangerous game here because there's a very real chance of an instant and massive re-rate. MMs probably prefer not to be short here. Not cos they know anything about the sale, but it's just not worth the risk for them.

I think the market is not functioning in its normal way over here, as many have been saying for a long time. That has no bearing on the asset sale, JORC audit or any other important developments.

Frankie, the warrants didn’t create anywhere close to a 20% dilution which would explain the drop from just over 5p to just over 4p. I believe (and observed ppl saying on Twitter) that it got ppl to sell up which caused the drop.

Now why they would sell up a profitable undervalued company on such a non-issue is beyond me. But I’ve calculated and recalculated and we’re looking at something like $9M net profit this year. Ppl moaning about short term price fluctuations are missing the bigger picture. All it did was allow ppl to buy in cheaper before the lid gets blown off here.

Thornback, the same could be said of lots of shares. The market doesn't always value companies properly. If it did, none of us would make any money.

Thornback, all I can say is that trading patterns come up on the board / group of every share I'm in when the sp isn't as high as ppl want. Is it a coincidence that PIs on every share point to strange trading patterns? Maybe they're not so strange after all. It's just part of the market.

And on every share ppl point to the ATHs and complain we've gone down x% since then. Like I said, it's not realistic to expect the sp to be at ATH all the time. The general trend here is definitely up recently.

Where we PIs have a huge advantage is that we can wait out these price fluctuations as long as we want. Professional investors don't always have that ability because they need to explain paper losses to bosses / investors. By fussing over short-term price fluctuations, PIs turn their main advantage into a disadvantage.

And moaning about it on the boards doesn't do any good for the moaner or for anyone reading it (not talking about you there, Thornback).

I'm just going to say this before I filter you again cos you are constantly negative and I can't be bothered for it any more.

Price fluctuations are normal for shares. It happens. To every share. All the time. If you can't accept that, you're in for a frustrating time with any investment.

Shares also go down on good news. In every AIM share I've been in.

Pointing to the ATH and complaining we're not still there is very common for PIs, but it's self-inflicted pain that I've got no time for. By definition we're going to spend most of our time lower than the ATH.

I remember you being very negative in the 2p area, and I could understand that, but we've doubled since then and I firmly believe we will more than double again in time. So we had a retrace? So what, it happens all the time.

The line that directors should have paid out of their own pocket is ridiculous as I said at the time.

It's not the BoD's job to hold the hand of nervous nelly PIs.

The drop and most of the comments on here were ridiculous but provided a buying opportunity for those able to take a broader view.
