Next is execution of the first WL transaction.
I wouldn't like to guess when that will happen though. Probably a week before the next AGM lol
Deacs, yes and no. Why is the share price 15% lower than before yesterday's WL announcement?
You can argue it was not as positive as some suggested, but it's hard to argue that it was negative. So why the adverse sp reaction?
It is legally binding. That's why the RNS said binding. What do you think binding means?
The language used, mentioning both "binding" and "envisages," might appear contradictory. However, it's a common legal practice in such documents to combine these terms to clarify the status and expectations of the agreement.
The term "binding" implies that the parties involved have committed to certain essential terms and conditions of the agreement. This commitment is legally enforceable within the context of those agreed-upon terms.
On the other hand, "envisages" suggests that while the fundamental aspects of the transaction have been agreed upon and are considered binding, certain finer details or specific aspects might still need further negotiation or finalization. It implies that while the core agreement is in place, there might be additional terms, conditions, or nuances that are still subject to finalization or clarification before the full agreement is executed.
In essence, the binding commitment secures the primary aspects of the agreement, while the term "envisages" acknowledges that some finer points or specific details may need further attention or clarification before the final execution of the agreement.
"BBPM, the WL Client Company, the Group and a dedicated Stock Company have signed a BINDING TERM SHEET"
They've signed a legally binding contract. It's no longer just potential. It's real.
Yeah I bought some today too. First buy in was just a couple of weeks ago. GLA.
There cannot be any placings till the end of April earliest, per the agreement with Venus.
Nope. They've taken pay cuts and forgone bonuses.
Frankly, I see no reason why I should engage with your posts at all, Dr NO.
They are just nasty and add no value at all.
Just to add to LW's post, even if you (like myself) do believe this will come good eventually, it should still not be the only investment you hold. We can argue all day about whether this is a good investment or not, but at the end of the day it should only be a relatively small part of anyone's portfolio, and it's the portfolio performance that matters, not any one investment.
And, like in every single investment, never put in more than you can afford to lose and never put in money you need in the next 5 years. People keep doing this all over AIM. It's a big problem.
I wonder whether some of the more angry posters have over-exposed themselves.
Like who? Like Arthur...?
Careful what you wish for mate.
Quite right. Some posters here must think it's dead easy to take a green hydrogen plant from concept to operation. Practically anyone can do it...... yeah right.
Damay, it’s a vendetta. Hence the anger.
I'm very glad we have an accountant at the helm. Just look at COPL. Simply unbelievable.
And AFTER their more than 80% drop this week they still have the same market cap as us, even though they are going bust and we are debt free.
Give me a prudent CEO any day of the week.
We are not relying on any external source of finance while we await a farmout deal. It's a much better bet.
Commiserations to you guys. I used to a shareholder here and only sold by chance, not because I saw this coming. I actually thought the prospects were good.
Another blow to salt-of-the-earth PIs. It's tremendously unfair.
The silence is completely wrong, UNLESS she can’t give an update because any update would have to include information she’s not able to announce yet.
Depends on 3 things:
1) Results of the new well
2) Extension of drill or drop decision date
3) Selecting a preferred farmout partner to progress
Separately in another month we will have fully paid off the BP loan and will have options to refinance for a second producing asset. I certainly hope this is in the works.
I bet you still hold your shares though, NO…
But you’re not a clown cos at least you know you’re holding onto a bad investment, right…?
Yeah, yeah. I'm a clown and you're a genius.
From your user name you clearly either sold out for a big loss or are currently sitting on a big paper loss, just like me. So if I'm a clown for the decisions I made, then so are you. Get off your high horse, mate.
AG, I think any signed binding deal will rerate us and bring in new shareholders. The constant complaint for a long time now has been that we have lots of MOUs but no binding agreements yet. Get one of those and we're off to the races.
I was sure this would have happened at COP28, as I said a few times. This was based on the RNS from last Feb. I am very annoyed that the opportunity was allowed to slip past us with no explanation. The radio silence on this suggest to me that either that progress has stalled and there's nothing to say, or that something is happening behind the scenes that she can't talk about yet. Which is it? Place your bets.
On the NZ side, I think we all badly misunderstood the farmout deal with Riversgold. I thought we had basically given away 80% in exchange for them spending $600K. That seems to not be the case but RG now have the right to enter a JV on a negotiated deal, the terms of which we don't know or maybe haven't even been agreed yet.
This is critical because it turns a pretty bad deal into a pretty good one, and bodes well for her plan to do similar with the other assets.
But the sp is stuck because, if the market in anything like me, I am stuck with indecision because in contrast to 2 weeks ago I now feel I don't have enough information to go on. So I haven't bought or sold anything. It's been a while since the last update on GH. I guess we'll see what happens next.
Last RNS: Following successful completion of the Study, Oracle Energy will now proceed with negotiations for firm offtake agreements with selected partners and finalise ongoing joint venture/equity partnership discussions. In parallel, Oracle Energy's team is focused on arranging the next steps for front-end engineering and design ("FEED") work for the planned Plant, including, hydrogen production facility, hydrogen compression, liquefaction and storage facility, ammonia synthesis and cracking facility. Once completed, this will take the Project into the next phase of the pre-Final Investment Decision ("FID") stage.
