If you can't research for whatever reason, stick to investing in funds imo. Go for good, not extraordinary, performance.

I came late to the EUA party. Wish I would have got it below 1p. But it took me a couple of days to do my research, by which time it had already gone up a lot. And I'm fine with that because the alternative is terrible...

A couple of other companies have been mentioned today. I just don't have time right now to research so I have to leave well alone, even though they've gone up.

All he said is that they were reviewing the dividend policy. Then he said something about rewarding the 'long-suffering shareholders' and went on to say that he had invested £1M at 5p in 2008.

Separately he said we don't need the $50M.

If I was being paid to deramp a good stock, I would spend my Sundays writing negative posts while using my earnings to buy shares in the very company I was deramping. But that’s just me. Maybe some guys are so committed to their day job they wouldn’t invest in a good opportunity if it was staring them in the face.

I do agree that just because I think that’s what we should get doesn’t mean that’s what will happen. I haven’t put a down payment on a private jet just yet....

Joey, I’m not sure. Just because they were operational for longer, why should that affect the value of the mine itself?

Dealer, I think this exact thought is the only reason it’s still at 3p. It seems too unrealistic to go up so drastically so ppl don’t believe it can happen, and therefore aren’t piling in and are selling their shares for smallish profits.

But, if you look only at the value of the company rather than the market cap, I don’t think it’s unrealistic at all. Sp seems to have nothing to do with the real value of the company atm, something I believe will change in one minute when they announce the offer.

I also make the metal in the ground worth $22.5Bn ($1800 per oz less $300 direct costs). Let’s take a conservative 10% discount factor to get present value. Anyone remember what the life of the mine is expected to be to finish this calculation off?
