Good post, and a fair summary.
with all the bot trades we are seeing lately, and in the knowledge that every sell must have a buy to balance, is there a big buyer out there.

The Brockham papers are submitted in support of the application. In other words Surrey allowed it at Brockham, so precedent is already set
Mischief intended as usual
Looking at the price rise since 10.00 someone is buying in small blocks very regularly. either 5000 or 7199 and is getting a real bargain at these prices.
Will we see an RNS of "over 3%" in the near future, or does this not apply to Aim.

Still long and not so strong
Morning boys and girls
I am as disappointed as nearly everyone at this news..being an optimist has some advantages in these situations.... but as yet I haven't lost a penny piece because I am not selling my shares. One out of three is not the end of the road for me. It may take longer to get there but with TE10 and TE11 we may have a euphoric RNS rather than an I told you so response.
Sidi and TE5 are both of value and must be part of plan B?
As to leaks and other scams. Several of the posters on here are claiming that the news leaked before the drill started... I think not.
And what of the team that we have placed our faith in. I bet they are all laughing with joy at the result and calling us fools. Having met several of them I believe they will be as gutted as we are and will look to try and rectify matters next time around. Their reputations are at stake and they all seemed to be proud of their positions with Sound.
No sell means no loss and I am, unlike some, not dependent on this share for my bread and butter so long still and strong.
Good Luck to those who have over invested, but JP and BM do not make those decisions on your behalf.
Ginger Bear.

managed to get my B/E down to current share price when 4.5p arrived but like James Parsnip and other oilies I was looking for a quicker return by year end. 50p was my target to sell half of my holding and I am still confident that Angus will deliver the £1, but not this year. February 2019 maybe, once all testing and cleaning is done.

PS. Is oil and gas an addictive problem for some of us??
Morning campers
I can only surmise that the trolls are either hoping for a lower entry point for their masters on a daily basis to make a few pounds or they need some form of therapy to alleviate the shallow nature of their existence. The concept of a shareholder trying to talk down their investment seems a little strange to me.
TE9 - so far so good. No rash statements to the public at large, probably referring results to Moroccan government prior to RNS, and why test if its a duster.
I am happy to think that some gas has been identified and that the experts who have some data now (and not any on this board) are making decisions about how much to release in public and how much to keep in the data room.
All good, except for share price.

Morning all
I am always heartened by the return of old villans and the appearance of Trolls on any board of the shares I own.
There is no other financial motive for them to come out from under the bridge than to drive the share price down for their own gain. If the share is such a poor investment then why bother and waste valuable goat hunting time, they would be looking for another share to short and profit from and "eat them for their supper".
So welcome all trolls, misfits and newcomers with deliberately misleading and obvious questions. You merely boost my confidence and bring amusement at the same time.

An excellent summary of where we are. no hype, no bull just a straight analysis of what has and might happen in the near future. Some of our posters would wish to see JP with a shovel in his hand. I have no idea why as his expertise is in deal making and so far I see no evidence to doubt this.

I am not sure what the share price today has to do with the real value of the asset. I accept that its only worth what anyone is willing to pay, but the daily fluctuations only reflect a moment in time. The LE will not be on a days figure but on the BOD (with input from Morocco and ONHYM) who own 25.86% of the company and what they feel is a fair price.
If you are a trader then good luck, but the LTH seem to favour the idea of an LE of £'s not pence.
A basin of potentially 35TCF and another of 11.5TCF will attract more than 30p.
Good luck but I believe you are being short sighted in the extreme.
Stay long and Strong

my take on todays trading is that 3 big sells on or around 8.00 am to 8.10 was the beginning of a tree shake to target any stops at 30p. And didn't they do it well. 3 x 50,000 and then buying pm in lumps of 100,000 to garner their profit.
My sympathies to anyone who has lost money today - a day when there was no news except the expectation and hope of news (or rumour) always makes the fear increase and the sellers appear.
We have had the expected flow of news. Casing 1, Casing 2 and we await 1st target depth achieved and news of hydrocarbons or not.
Nothing has changed today except the levels of anxiety of holders, both long and short. The ambitions of us all are still unproven by the drill bit but they will be what they will be for all of the stakeholders - PI,s Schlumberger, Ohnym JP and the Moroccan people.
Do people really believe that JP fooled Shlumberger.. Come on boys and girls get real.
Onwards and upwards soon.

Dear Trellis and Crude
I can only but admire your stances (both of you in your different ways) Half full and half empty and please you choose which you want to be. (Manners maketh Man.
I am a half full as my meager posts would show, but with some justification I hope. The involvement of Schlumberger has always suggested to me that we are on a 60 / 40 ride and therefore more full than empty.
Do we agree that a key aspect of the LE (should Te 9,10 an possible 11 all fail) will be Sidi as this would seem to have potential as a producing field, with Sound and Schlumberger in harness together. Not the £...... we all hope for, but a long term earner for the Western Company separated out?
Just a point for discussion or ignoring.

Thanks for posting the link to the article. an interesting read and one which just emphasizes how big the whole of our potential development will be. The gas to power projects talk about bringing 7 billion cm into Morocco by 2025 and using 5bcm a year to generate electricity. TE5,6and 7 are providing 0.65TCF (not sure of conversion rate ? 9 cf = 1cm?)
still indicates 72 years of gas from these "small" finds.
undervalued or what?

Wonder what the statement will tell us that we don't already know.
Can a company dictate the timing of an RNS ..perhaps 10.00am to coincide with statement?
ever hopeful after 7 years.

Oooops
so much for my theory and powers of deduction.
perhaps their broker had the morning off.
Still if it is Bergen then the lift off must be getting closer
GB
the rns applies to Thursday 4th trading and if we allow for Friday and Monday (circa 2 million sold in large chunks)
then 5% of shares have been sold across the two days minimum.
This means that Bergen are now below 3%, if not sold altogether.
Certainly today does not follow the pattern of past weeks with early large sells by 9.00am
I am guessing that they are now either out of the way, or holding a small % as the bonus payout when Brockham begins to flow.
GB
I have been tracking and I make it 2,009,739 sold up to 14.01
Assuming sales over 50,000 shares are Bergen and checking price either side of the "sales" to ensure they are below the prices either side.
Not scientific but a good measure. One cannot rely on the colour of the trade.
Ginger Bear
Sorry but I cant stand reading the drivel that comes out of the 2 numpties who have plagued this board for weeks without any logical debate or real information to offer.
By the way Bergen need to sell 3.8 million to cross 1% thresholds so still a way to go.
88ft versus 1200 ft. I know which I would take as a better bet.
Bet you can't guess who you are. Filtered.

evening all,
can anyone remember or shed light as to what exactly happened to JTP's shares and where they ended up following the debacle of his personal loan?
I fail to understand why the share price failed to rise today - a lack of production potential in the short term and Bergen I suppose but even so....very frustrating
