Why, oh why are those among us who undertook the trip to QRF, at their own expense and in their own time, who subsequently wrote the most comprehensive of reports on their visit, simply to share with us all, having to defend their actions? I just don't get it.

Read what has actually been written, take comfort in the fact that QED have checked and edited the entire document before it was released to us, and accept that all this has been done with the best of intent....behaving like some petulant child helps nobody....its just destructive, and most of us have been here long enough to feel some sense of community, even if opinions differ...considerably in some cases.

Size may matter in some contexts, HF14, (and I shall leave aside the obvious gags) but in the brave new word of disruptive technologies where small, nimble companies and teams of clever people continue to redefine the world in which we live, I think business has moved on from the 1980's clichés.

Take a look at some of the technologies that are making such a massive difference in virtually all areas of our everyday lives and tell me that a vast office foyer, next to perfectly painted parking lots are a necessity, and then take a look at all the lovely big offices occupied by creaking monolithic companies who struggle to motivate, innovate, create and generate.

I am with FYOZ; its what QED are doing inside that the world wants and needs...and who cares what car they drive, where they live, or whether there are coy carp in a fish tank shaded beneath a Himalayan birch growing to a zinc framed glazed atrium, nestled in red sea gravel...

By all means try Fyoz et al, and I applaud your efforts but in 2022, I exchanged letters, phone calls and emails with Jacob Rees-Mogg, Greg Hands and Kwasi Kwarteng on precisely this subject. The emphatic response was that there could be no government support for QED (QFI as it was at the time). I appreciate that Government policy is anything but consistent, so it may have changed, but the optics were just perceived to be all wrong and until we have a proven net zero product, i would not expect this to change.

If we are to get funding of this sort, I think it is far more likely to come from European sources via our JV partners, as others more enlightened than I have already sommented.

Agreed 100% Monkey, but that is the nature of the beast to some extent, (I accept entirely that broken promises, buoys, missed deadlines, false narratives and broken pumps have unnecessarily littered our path) both in terms of it being a pre-commercial company, one who's CEO is a scientist and one that offers a life changing turn in the fortunes of us all, if the cards fall the right way up. If everything was run as it would be at an established blue chip company, if we had money in the bank and some serious backing most of us probably wouldn't be here twitching with the knowledge that at some point next week, the mortgage could be paid off, or the pension pot doubled...it genuinely is the most frustrating position to be in, but we all understand the undoubted upside....

Not this again, please...last weekend's 'squabbles' were, in my opinion, painful to read.

Legal contracts/negotiation of the written word, takes time and very rarely will sign off/completion occur on the dates everyone hopes for. JM's comments at the AGM were, in my view, naïve in the extreme. It is also naïve to think it sensible to set any dates in stone, because in my experience, we sail past that date and then everyone looks up and asks 'what do we do now', and this is particularly the case if one party sets a deadline; the chances are they still want the transaction to complete, but they have put themselves in a position where they should arguably impart some form of negative action to reinforce their deadline.

Truth is, all Jason can do is to keep pushing and keep us as updated as he can, and in my opinion there seems little more he can actually say on the matter, particularly as hands are tied by regulation...so we simply wait, and take it that no news is always good, in so far as at least the deal still has a pulse.

...as much as a reassuring update would help me feel significantly better!

This morning, I actually convinced myself that news MUST now be imminent, having seen no RNS of any description. To my mind, no sane Board would offer such promise to deliver, fail and not now feel morally obliged to update shareholders, unless they know they can finally issue strong news in the next few days. Make no mistake; they know how we all feel.

Conclusion: News is imminent!....or perhaps (as I suspect is more likely) I have just been invested here for too long to actually make sense of anything, anymore...!

Wonga, if DPD say they will deliver something to you in 14 days, do you start giving them a load of grief after ten, and then stand at the gate telling anyone who will listen, that DPD are a bunch of wasters?

We all know the track record here, but even with that in background, it seems very odd to publicly berate senior management of a company you are invested in (and therefore, presumably believe in) for not delivering before the end of the month, even though there are eleven days left in the month.

Personally, I think you should keep such opinions to yourself until 1st January. I won't mind if the announcement ends up being a week or two late, but at least you will have just cause to start shouting about it, in January. Happy Christmas!

QED have no history of springing leaks, so I think this is all based on nothing more than what may appear to be an excellent 'punt' for those who have perhaps sat on the side lines watching patiently...and in fairness to them, I believe that it is a punt with huge potential upside.

For those of us who have been here ten years or more, the cynicism rather obscures any belief that the next board meeting will produce anything other than the litany of poor excuses and missed deadlines to which we are all accustomed.

Well I think we all know where we won't hear it from..... now they have managed to wring a little more salary from us, communication with shareholders is firmly OFF the agenda!

We have a very small cash runway before we either try to fund raise again (I suspect this would mean shareholder obliteration ) or the company dies.

Cutting through all the spin and nonsense that annoyingly, QED still seem to think necessary, it is my view that nothing meaningful is likely to happen with MSC in the time we have left, the same goes for Utah (if our conclusions from last night are correct), which means for me, this is 'Morocco or morbidity'. The saga in Morocco seems to be riven with c0ck ups, but I hold my tongue on that slightly, having read comments from the more experienced engineers amongst us (and on the forum), and their suggestion that equipment failures amid a mission to seek a solution are not an entirely unexpected outcome when actually trialling on site.

I can't see that diverting the time and attention of our board and QED staff will help us remotely in the final days of reckoning that now await.

We were in the 20's a few years ago and should be there now....that's more than 13 times the current market value.

Muvver; spot on. I am in almost precisely the same position and first invested about 14 years ago. Since then the story of QFI/QED has dominated my breakfast reading! It all seemed so exciting and after years of reassuring myself that all will be well, I feel we have finally turned the corner in realising just how low management can stoop in misleading investors; I just feel cheated and mislead.

If Jason takes a meaningful pay cut and announces it on Wednesday, then I am in, if he doesn't show enough humility to at least do that, then he will confirm what I have now come to think of him and his leadership.
