The fact the company is recruiting is a positive - many companies aren't recruiting because they can't afford to and because business is contracting so they're having to cut back. That's clearly not the case with capita. I'm not sure how long the vacancies have been advertised, many appear to have been advertised recently, some advertised today, so there's no indication they're struggling to fill them, unless you can provide some evidence to suggest otherwise? The salaries are good so I doubt they'll have any trouble filling them.

Over 1,100 job vacancies advertised on their website (locations all over the world) good salaries, Capita is a solid company with a large number of lucrative contracts. 20p a share is way undervalued imo. We'll see, but I'll be very surprised if this doesn't bounce hard from this prolonged period of flatline at some point over the coming weeks.

15 Dec 2021 : share price fell to 27.5p
8 Mar 2022 : share price fell to 29.94p
26 Apr 2022 : share price currently below the March 8th low which is not a good sign. If it falls below the 15 December low, sub 25p could be on the way?

20p is a rock solid bottom. At some point soon this is going to jump 50% or more in a very short space of time. Could happen anytime.

Of course he doesn't seem overly concerned! What's he got to be concerned about? Shareholders might be suffering but the boss certainly isn't! From a recent article :

"Mooky Greidinger raked in nearly £1.48m, up from £830,000 in 2020. The figure was boosted by a hefty £646,000 bonus, which the 69-year old received despite the company posting a pre-tax loss of around £542m as its cinemas remained closed for part of the year due to lockdown restrictions"

Unfortunately it's impossible to predict right now if covid is going to make a resurgence and result in further lockdowns and restrictions. Just when we all thought we were getting back to normal, cases rise in china sending global markets into freefall. A global sell off is underway. Everyone's pulling their money out of stocks because if there are further lockdowns, it'll be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of businesses. Johnson will not want to lock us down again. But if what's happening in China spreads across the world once again, his hand will be forced.

Currently can't buy even £200 worth on Halifax.

From this price it seems likely there's at least 50% upside to be had in the short to medium term. With so much doom and gloom on the markets, investors will jump on any opportunity to make money - could see a lot of buyers moving in here over the next few days.

Covid followed by the war in Ukraine is to blame for why so many stocks are struggling. To be honest, I think 2022 is a bit of a write off, same as the last two years. Unless investors have a lot of patience and are happy to buy now and wait a few years, might as well stay on the sidelines in a good cash position and just focus on building your savings pot. At some point hope and positivity will return to the markets and a new bull run will begin, but right now that feels like a long way off.

I think it's safe to say 20p is the bottom. Even 30p is cheap and that's a 50% gain from the this price.

The company has grown to where it is today and still there's only 100m shares in issue. There's very little risk of placings so shares in issue is unlikely to change - at some point the tide should turn for online retailers like Boo, ASOS, Ted, AO etc and when it does we all know stocks like asos with tiny free floats can move particularly quickly. Not in (yet) but it's on the watchlist.

Any listed company that has a debt pile ten times market cap isn't a fundamentally good investment. It's a stinker. Hence why it's the most shorted stock in the UK.

Are you suggesting investors shouldn't over-think their investments? Are you suggesting investors should dismiss the negatives and pretend they aren't there? Only a fool would disregard the risks here. Because the risks of the company losing the appeal, the share price falling much further and the company potentially going into administration are very real. It's not what you want to hear, but it's the reality of the situation.
