In a latest emailed statement, Aramco said it seeks to “become a leading global LNG player”, as it sees growing demand for the fuel.
“We see indications that the LNG market is positioned for structural, long-term growth,” Bloomberg quoted Aramco’s Upstream President Nasir Al-Naimi as saying. The official confirmed plans to diversify Aramco’s business and tap into demand for gas and cleaner energy options.
Global LNG trade doubled in value last year to more than $450 billion, according to the International Energy Agency. The growth in LNG demand has been attributed to supply disruptions caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The oil giant has allocated a huge spending outlay of $45 billion to $55 billion this year, as it looks to expand its investments.
Horizonte Minerals (LSE:HZM) – which is my other miner on its way to production with, hopefully, the end of the tunnel for shareholders – has flagged the problem. (Although I also have in mind Greatland Gold’s 30% share in Newmont’s Havieron gold mine now building its mine access, where I fear investors are in for a shock when the updated feasibility study is published (late) early next year. There are many others).
From presentation. It is recalled Ngoulana was ready for DMS. Bouma(?)was being prepared for FP. AB mentioned further exploration of Bouma (Strike Length?) was "about 500m"; Not cfmd as Geos report not yet avail. Later, S. may have let slip Bouma SL was 750m, maybe 1000m. AB also mentioned that ML extensions were in 10yr blocks until resources depleted.
Mine Plan showed two feeds to DMS; thence three discharges. 1.Grit (Local use, no income value); 2.Product stock pile; 3. FINES stockpile ready for FP processing. Local road network (to be constructed) also shown. I believe slides cfmd local contractor is in place for road construction to start.
Not from presentation (imv): If Bouma results +ve then it is hoped resource upgraded; Mine Plan with roads, DMS & FP all may appear as +ves and with avail ML 10yr extensions, it is hoped LOM extended beyond 8.5yr.
Once 90 mmcf & 2250 bopd NGL cfmd, this would reach present plant capacity.
What additional work-time-cost is reqd to reach plant design capacity 200 mmcf; And what is max NGL bopd capacity?
