Ray interesting comment. I agree it works both ways. There is obviously no evidence the current vaccine will work on variants and of course if those variants should become different covid viruses. One thing for sure is we will find out in due course given the roll out of vaccine on millions of people. If SCLP can push forward in their trials at pace a second generation solution might well prove very very fruitful. As clearly the COVID-19 story is not resolved yet! ATB.

On point 5. I’m a little interested on this point. Avidmab is the very potential “license” deal CH clarified yesterday they were still discussing with big Pharma.

Do you think this potential value may, in part, be the reason for last Redmile investment? Or put it another way If they know it’s undervalued was it just part of some negotiation tactic to try and agree the deal?

Interesting that they are stating it’s now undervalued and also that lindy appears to have stated it’s importance on SCIB vaccines going forward.
