I suppose it may be indicative of the current macroeconomic climate:

Shocked to see sp now down to 230.8...

I wonder - is there something - some news maybe (eg some lowered valuations or reduced prospects)- we don't know?!

Or is this simply due to this season of volatility?

... or maybe - the voice of doubt says - it's no opportunity at all.

I'll hodl and see...

Looking at MV chart since June 2016, the sp is now almost at its rock bottom ever at 243 (it recently went as low as 240).

Now I am perplexed why it should still be falling.

Wondering now if this is also a good opportunity to buy a few more shares...

... a good time to accumulate.

I do agree with you that now does look like a good to accumulate.

Couldn't agree more too that timing the bottom of a market is near impossible.

It should read: 'making a loss of a bit more than 15%'...

'upward we go'....

Now we are down to 248.40 (t was 259.20 when you posted on 10 Aug.)

The sp was actually higher six years ago on 10 Aug 2017 - at 302.50.

So if you had bought then, thinking this would be a good long-term investment, you would be now making a loss of almost 15%.

It does make you wonder.

I wonder if this will be a good investment - for six years time?!

When I re-invested in MV the other day, those were the lines I was thinking on.

(But I felt I needed a bit of dialogue and confirmation - so thank you).

After a while with no MV shares, I bought a new shareholding yesterday.

Let's hope this will prove good in the long-term (and hopefully the short-term too!)

I don't hold any MV shares at present.

Of course I wish I had sold those I held in the last two years much nearer their high points...but don't we all?!

I needed to sell a few months ago... but I am able to buy again now.

I am probably going to buy a fair if (fairly) modest holding soon - hopefully for the long run.

Any comments?

Why do you think such a background seller would be selling so stealthily?

Is it to manipulate the price maybe for their own advantage?!

Or do they just want out of this stock...

I just noticed that on 17th August 2018 the MV sp was 635.

It is now less than half that - after over four and a half years...

Has this company really made no progress in all this time (or does the current macro-economic climate help explain all)?!

Do you actually think MV might delist - and then go to the NASDAQ?!
