I certainly can relate to it mate.

My daughter is a doctor working on a respiratory ward, every patient is Covid-19 positive, and it’s certainly not the only ward in her hospital full of Covid-19 patients.

Han**** has stated on the Andrew Marr show that the WHO guidance is now being followed for PPE and for example nhs staff are wearing full gowns not silly little plastic aprons - I can’t check with my daughter as she is working but that was not the case a few days ago, is your sister in law wearing full gowns now ?

The rate of infections in Spain appears to have plateaued and whilst they are intending to extend the lockdown until the 25th of April, it would seem that the additional measures announced last week that stopped businesses from running may be relaxed after the Easter weekend, if this happens then WRES may be able to start production again in 8-10 days time.

The gamble that the Spanish will be taking of course, is wether or not a second wave of the infection will sparked off, let’s hope not firstly and most importantly, because of the potential human consequences and secondly because of the financial implications to WRES, every other business, and the economy as a whole.

My comments were simply to explain that my heart goes out to the boys family, because irrelevant of wether your statement was correct or not they still deserve our sympathy, or don’t you think so ?

The announcement is due in mid April, so my guess is Tuesday the 14th mate.

The figures are not going to be what any of us hoped, we already know that, so the real issue is what is he going to tell us is going to happen going forward (once we are up and running again) if he says we are on target for 80% production once we start up again then everything will be fine, in fact if he says 50% we will still be ok but much less than that may prove to be a problem.

As you have not provided a source (which I did, with a link to it) I can only presume that you made your comment up.

Also, there was an article on the bbc need a short while ago, in which it was again stated that the poor child didn’t have any underlying health problems, and that not only did he die from Covid-19, but that his family cannot even go to his funeral, because 2 other children have the symptoms.

I suspect that the independent and the bbc have a greater knowledge than you, but in any case my heart goes out to any family that loses a 13 year old child, let alone one that because of the virus could not be with him when he died and now cannot be at his funeral, and, I suspect, that every other decent human being feels the same.

I heard about that it’s great to see.

As with most things in life, it’s the minority who cause all of the problems, the scum at that Liverpool Aldi, are, I am sure, not representative of by far the majority of people either in Liverpool, or across the country as a whole.

I sure as hell didn’t vote for the nasty party mate.

As for the scum, who knows who they voted for, it’s irrelevant they are still scum.

For the first time in more than a month my daughter who has been working flat out with Covid-19 patients has finally managed to get all of the food shopping she needs for a week !

I read an article yesterday that I found absolutely disgusting, a nurse who had come off of a 13 hour night shift, went to her Aldi’s in Liverpool and because the NHS staff don’t have to queue she was about to be let in by the security guard when 6 or 7 people in the queue started having a go at her !

She went home in tears !

If I had been the manager of that store I would have banned those people and refused to allow them to shop.

They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves !

I certainly wouldn’t put it past them - however, if there’s one good thing that is likely to result from this disaster, it’s that there’s no way that the general public will now ever allow them to sell off the NHS.
