So please tell me, when this is done will the share denomination be as I stated 0.1p or as GUG stated 1p ?

1 new share for every 100 current shares.

Current share price 0.85p x 100 = 8.5p

1 million current shares x 0.085p = £850

10,000 new shares x 85p = £850

The RNS doesn’t state that the nominal value of the shares will alter, it’s the reduction in the number of shares that puts the share price up.

Some people clearly haven’t understood what the RNS means.

It’s not puzzling if you read it carefully and take a careful look at where the decimal point is in each of the paragraphs.

Your explanation is correct.

It’s simple really, if we get good results / news going forward then the SP will go up, IIs will be more interested, refinancing at a lower interest rate will become possible, and the future will be bright, if we get poor results / news then the opposite will be true.

By the end of the third week of April we will all have a far better idea of where we are.

My glass is still half full.

The market is unlikely to react much until we have figures published that show we are at least producing and shipping enough Otto break even mate.

That said we will most likely get s bit of an uplift in the run up to the expected production results in April

These facts were posted earlier this morning but have been deleted in a thread that contained one or more posts deemed to be unacceptable, so I thought I should make it clear.

We will have to wait and see what the production figures are, I’m hoping that the 60 tons of tungsten and 20 tons of tin that we know about up to 8/3/21 are supplemented by a further 20 tons of tungsten per week through the rest of March and with luck one more 20 ton shipment of tin, if so that would give us 120 tons of tungsten and 40 tons of tin for the quarter, despite the 2week shutdown of the plant and the further shutdown of mining.

Most importantly if we are now, as I suspect, able to produce 20 tons of tungsten and maybe 4 tons of tin a week on 5 day working, it bodes very well for the future.

But as I say we will have to wait and see ;-)

Thanks, she is as well as can be expected, the fall didn’t cause any injuries thank goodness but the Alzheimer’s continues to do its worst.

The filter is a good thing where certain posters are concerned, but better still I note this morning that many of the green boxes have disappeared, so I can only presume that the content of some of those green boxes was reported and that administration officials have concluded that the posters concerned are in breach of the rules on the board, hopefully they will ban them ;-)

I agree, however if one company attempts a takeover then others will follow and as I said in a previous post, unless the board recommends any offer and or the shareholders agree to any offer then it cannot happen, but, it will put SNG squarely in sight of the governments a drug administrations of the world, and the SP will be many multiples of today’s price, which will allow those who want to take profits to do so, those who want to hold to do so, and those who want to buy to do so.

SNG will succeed and hopefully we will all make large profits.

Let’s hope that one or more major US institutional investors are picking up the shares, I think it is entirely possible in fact quite likely, as the large pharmaceutical companies would be very interested in taking over a minnow like SNG, that has the potential to become a leviathan

I am sorry to hear of your loss.

My daughter is a doctor and has unfortunately had to deal with many, many deaths as a result of covid and having to inform their families that their loved one is dying and or has died is an awful, albeit necessary task.

The sooner that as many people who can be vaccinated get vaccinated the better, SNG will still be needed going forward as will other therapeutics, but the most important thing is that as many lives as possible are saved.

Did you ask them wether the points at which disclosure needs to be made are the same for institutional investors as they are for private investors?

I’m convinced that someone is building a position and it’s entirely possible that they are doing so in advance of a takeover attempt - I say attempt because unless the board and the majority of shareholders agree to it the company cannot be taken over, and my guess is that any early attempt at a takeover would considerably undervalue SNG

I believe that if they have a large order being filled over a number of days / weeks that reporting is only required when the order is completely filled.

If you take a look at the share price page on here you will see that they quote that 1,403,269 shares were traded today, but further down they quite that 320,212 were sold and 530,888 were bought, which is a total of 851,100.

Now we all know that if a trade goes through at the exact mid market price it shows up in grey rather than blue or red on the shares traded list, however there’s no way that the difference between the total shares traded today and the total of the sold and bought, which amounts to 552,169 shares, went through at the exact mid market price, so, I would suggest that those shares are in fact trades that were late reported and therefore did not show up in the share trades page at all on this site.

One or more large buyers are taking a position here and at some point in the not to distant future a TR1 will have to be issued.
