Well there’s no 7am detrimental RNS, so it looks like either it was option 1 or option 3 that caused the drop.

The Q4 results were on the 21st January and the latest notification of conversion was a week later on the 28th January, so I don’t think your suggestion that Atlas thought the results were worse than they had been led to believe holds much weight.

The average cost of Atlas’s WRES shares is 0.109615p, so if they were selling some today (which I doubt) then they were losing somewhere between 12and 15%

A non executive director leaving the company due to other work and stating that he is retaining his shares is a non event, it has to be reported in an RNS, but nonetheless it’s a non event.

It’s interesting because it states that the study start date was 12th January, and when you click on the (i) it says that this means the date that the first patient was enrolled.

Listen, seriously, I’m not happy where we are my average is abysmal when compared to the current SP and I’m miles under water, but, like you, I do think we will eventually get there.

I agree that none of us knows what will happen, we can’t because we don’t have all of the facts that we need to be sure of where we actually are, but we do know that things are getting better in terms of production and both tin and tungsten prices, and we know we have been promised the grant, and we know we are now working 5/24 and moving to 7/24 from April, so, yes it could get worse if we have to draw down more from Atlas, but equally we may not have to draw down anymore and we may see production improve significantly just when metal prices are on the rise, so, my glass is still half full ;-)

I wonder if it will push through it before the close,

Sorry I’ve been out so only just read your post, I don’t think that the MMs can deliberately hold back a trade to gain an advantage, as that would be market manipulation, which is unlawful, however if they are filling one large trade of for arguments sake 100,000 shares I believe they are able to fill the trade in tranches throughout the day and then report them all at the end of the day so in this example you could end up with ten trades at 10,000 or twenty trades at 5000.

Having said that who knows what they get up too ! Anything’s possible I suppose !

Many of the trades that appear late, or after the close, and before the open, are for exactly the same amount for shares, I think from memory that after the close yesterday there were circa 100 trades at 10,003 (or something like that)

It’s weird and as I said I can only presume it’s a big order being filled

For the last 3 days the number of shares shown as bought and sold on this site have been a long way below the number of shares shown as having been traded - if you go to the share price page you can see that so far today approx 625,000 shares have been traded but the buys and sells only add up to about half of that amount, now I realise that when a trade takes place at the mid market price shown on this site at the time of the trade, that, that trade will not show as either a buy or sell, but there’s no way that the circa 300,000 shares have appeared as traded at the mid market price today, maybe this explains all of the trades that were shown on Tuesday at circa 50,000 at a time at 4.27pm and yesterday at circa 10,000 at a time at 4.35pm

Does anyone have an explanation for this ?

I can only presume that an institutional investor/S have put in orders and that they are being filled by the MMs in tranches each day and then reported at the end of the day and in some cases prior to the market opening the following day, any views ?

This guy started posting on this board in January telling everyone what a great company and how he was getting in at the bottom, he’s supposedly now sold up and is running the CEO down and attacking the long term investors.

I think these facts say a lot about the individual and absolutely nothing about WRES.
