At some point once the details of the deal are agreed the current shareholders will have to vote on it, but make no mistake the institutional investors will decide the outcome, and they are probably already aware of most of the deal.
The company can if needs be suspend the shares but this is unlikely at this stage.
A massive dilution is absolutely inevitable with the deal, with no deal the company will go under, hence why the institutional investors will vote for the deal (with the caveat that no other third party comes forward with a better deal, which is very unlikely, but cannot be ruled out completely)
Whether it’s this deal or a deal from a third party the shareholders will be massively diluted it’s a fact mate, they have just pretty much said the same on the ITV news
