Of course it is a little frustrating and I agree that it would be nice to get an update, however as chaser has said it’s probably best if the next RNS is one that tells us that we have achieved something rather than that we are not quite there yet.

Other than as yet we haven’t seen any more news, the project metrics are still the same and the turner pope research note published in February still values us at 2p now

Things are obviously running late but probably not much behind schedule and after waiting for 7 years another few weeks or months makes no difference to all of us long term holders

I will be very surprised if MM doesn’t update us via an RNS tomorrow, we were told at the AGM that the concentrator should be completed in July, that the gold update should be completed in July, and that we should get updated brokers notes from both brokers in July, so, even if none of these have been finalised, the least he should do is provide an update on where we are.

Delays happen and if they have then fair enough we will still get there, however he does need to keep us informed.

He does tend to invoke that type of reaction doesn’t he.

How does he know that the loans for the project are going to be 3% ? It wasn’t in yesterday’s announcement, indeed the paperwork has yet to be drawn up and with tungsten having dropped in price I would have thought that the lenders would demand a higher rate of return for a project that will deliver lower returns than originally presumed.

Almonty has yet to draw up and sign off on the funding, and then has a minimum of 18 months that it will take to build and get to production, in the meantime it’s debts are building every day, and tungder appears to be guessing at the interest rate that they will have to pay.

They may succeed but they may not particularly if the price of tungsten stays where it is.
