If I’m honest I did not do my normal amount of research before investing here, but, I have to say that I am impressed by the way that the BOD have been handling what’s gone on, and even more so on today’s announcement.

I was expecting the SP to recover to circa 75% of the price prior to the MW attack, but, now I am expecting a much higher increase over the next week or two.

Our CEO buys shares in the company on the open market and we still have some people moaning !!!

I would be banned if I wrote what I am currently thinking, so I will simply say, what utter clowns !!!

The thing is that Burford is currently not a run of the mill company, and despite the wider market anything could happen, the SP is way to low and a recovery to say 75% of the price pre the MW intervention is more than likely in the short term

If we breach it there’s a fair chance of a blue finish

Are clearly determined to try and drive the SP down further, their latest tweet suggesting 7 questions that bond holders should ask in the conference call due shortly are all interesting but obviously designed to be as disruptive as possible.

MMs are marking the SP down since the tweet came out and until the calls finished and there is news on how it went it’s unlikely that the SP will improve much.

WRES is the best investment of any stock ever in the history of trading, buy buy buy get WRES now while you still can it’s a great company with brilliant management a wonderful future and profits galore to be made buy buy buy and do it quick before everyone finds out

I don’t know mate it could be an institutional investor, and remember although the directors have been reporting almost immediately, if thresholds are crossed the requirements are to report within (I believe) 3 working days ? So if it’s someone who’d crossed a threshold we may not find out for another day or two.

So maybe the large buys were not from the directors and if so that means someone else with deep pockets buying in or adding to their holdings.

It will be interesting to see if the buying continues today.

Unfortunately it looks to someone new to this company and board, like me, that your comments are deliberately designed to undermine confidence in Burford, maybe with the intention of hoping to get back in if the SP drops again.

It would seem that MW are getting desperate

Most of them are now showing as sells in fact close on 500,000 reversed sells and less than 300,000 reversed buys.

It dies make me wonder if someone who is shorting was getting desperate watching the SP go up and was trying to spook people, as previously happened, the good news (though not for any shooters) is that it clearly didn’t work.

Surely No one has been sticking in orders and then pulling them at the last moment again !

Do you think we will see another RNS in the morning stating further directors buys ? And irrelevant of that do you think we are likely to see £10 this week ?
