Ah Ah Ah - Kong13 there must be 100's of bb's to post on.
Many Airline shares to consider, if you were solely interested in Aviation.
But no - you kindly devote yourself to ESKN, ignoring anything the Co. does in other areas to purely focus on Southend Airport.
Do you live at no 63 Noisy Street, Southend ? For directions turn left at the end of the runway, any chance ?
Still no news on the Airline sale .
G
Hi Castle, I've replied to his posts before. He seems singularly focused on anything related to Southend Airport. Actually, no on reflection, I'd amend that statement - he appears singularly focused on anything "negative" relating to Southend Airport.
Think Kong 13 is up to 20 posts, fortunately for us every one is has been on the STOB / ESKN bb's. So we must count ourselves very much blessed. To date nothing either positive or negative on the Energy Division, from Kong 13. Sole focus is Southend ( well anything negative ).
I'm speculating that he may own a property under the Southend flight path. Perhaps he may be looking possible compensation.
Don't get me wrong - I don't believe I'd like to live under a flight path, but that is a risk one takes if one buys near an airport.
G
Hi Kong13 - sorry I see looking back at your previous posts, that you've, already posted, that report back on the 24th, along with a couple of other posts about the case.
TBH I've not been too close to posts on this bb for a week or two.
Been on the lookout for any info on the Airline sale, which is key for ESKN, in the short term.
No news leads to speculation that there may be an issue, with the sale. Hopefully there will be an RNS either way.
G
Hi Kong 13 - I'm not sure if that's the end of it - maybe more claims can now be bought.
If that's it - just £86.5K in total, then perhaps ESKN would consider that a right result !
Suspect the House owners in the case will have been disappointed by the reduced payouts. Looks like the worst effected only received £17K, and those less effected only £4K.
Here's a report from last week on the case ( keep up BBC ! ) :
https://www.endsreport.com/article/1710766/southend-airport-compensate-homeowners-noise
It's described as an "Exempler case" for dozens more properties in the area. However the property owners in this case were probably the ones with the biggest issue with noise. They only received these much reduced payouts in comparison to what they originally claimed.
Sort lays out what others might be able to claim, if they decide to take it further. Some may do so, based on this case, ESKN can probably work out the likely costs overall. Looks like small beer imv.
I'm guessing ESKN is more concerned about the Summer Holiday season ( if there is to be one ! ) and the sale of the Airline, unless we get possible news here I'd be expecting to be doing day trades starting with a 2 soon.

Volcano - nice couple of trades for you. Nothing for me - had a lot on today, didn't have a lot of time online, so wasn't close enough to call anything.
Still the long term hold portfolio had a decent day, with the markets up moving into the weekend.
Hey though - Monday is the start of another week. Time to chill now, enjoy your weekend.
G
Volcano - I read the CMCX rns this morning and thought you'd take a trade, sure you have mentioned that one in the past to me, as yet I've not followed your wise advice and traded there, one day I'll learn lol, well done on picking up another profitable trade there.
ESKN looked good for a quick turn this morning, another quick and easy in and out. We need news on the Airline sale one way or the other, for this to hold any gains it seems atm, though it's still great for trading.
Going to watch SHI over the coming days, as you say FEVR is popping back, a week after being punished on results day.
I went out for a long walk mid morning and got absolutely soaked. Time to catch up and see where we are market wise this afternoon.
G
Quick in and out for me this morning. Maybe a little re trace, to offer a second go.
Volcano - gave SHI a miss early doors today.
Interesting how the market has reacted to CINE results once presented in black and white. Am wondering how other covid effected Co's reporting will be viewed over coming months. Maybe wait for a day or so, and pick up bargains on dips ?
It's deffo fun out there.
G
The Sky article indicates that the amount of shares picked up by SVPGlobal is not at a level that will need to be reported by TR1. Though if picked up from an existing Institutional Investor, we may see a TR1 detailing a reduction in holdings.
Be interesting to see how this develops. Will SVPGlobal move to increase its stake, with the sp in the low .30's and which of ESKN's existing Large holders, is happy to release and reduce it's holding at a loss.
Lets see how Mr Market views this news.

Hi Castle - yep got a nice little trade on KETL this morning, didn't get all of it as I waited, well dithered before pressing the buy button. Still got a fair chunk of it.
SENX has not been on my radar, but I'll take a look at it.
I may take another bite at PFC in the near future.
SHOE was one I puzzled over a couple years ago. The only two retail type shares I have ATM are some MKS which I picked up back in the summer and all my top slices from numerous TPT trades.
Lots of finals out tomorrow, I'll be taking a good look at SHI, then RGL, that said it all depends on how Mr Market sees things.
Another day drifts by here with no Airline sale news.
G
Morning Castle - i'm very close to a COST buy in. Have been in and out of CPI during 2020.
Am looking at Strix ( KETL ) on the open, marked down 10% yesterday today's results seem solid to me, perhaps some questions on growth for 2021. Will maybe give Mr Market half an hour today if they are marked down, a bit more i may pick up some, if it goes the other way, it'll be another that slips by.
G
I've not got any house builders in my P/F atm.
I missed out on PSN when it went below 2600 in Jan and Feb, was kicking myself, if it gets close again I'd look to pick some up.
GFRD has slipped a bit from the trading update earlier this month, it's now ex div I think. 1.20 looks a good entry point, but with today's rise maybe that's one that's passed us by. Will take another look at it.
Both COST and SHI continued their drift into the bell.
TSG looks quite good now at 115 today ( T/O @118 ), in comparison to HOC - 5.62% / CEY - 2.2% / PAF - 7.78% all down today.
G
Volcano - think I'll wait till tomorrow and see how the market opens.
HOC looks good sub 2.00, traded it when it was. knocked down with everything else last March / April, did nicely then.
PAF down to 16.6p to buy - bad news coming ? COST 57.6p to buy - emmm.
Not sure much is going to come out from Yellen & Powell today. Doris is up at 4.30. EU getting a bit vaccy.
Keeping an eye on things but, prob hold my powder today.
G
Volcano - thanks for that - it seems a good summary of where PFC is atm.
I see PAF is sub 17p now dropping by nearly 8% today.
Oil Co's getting whipped too, TLW sub 50p - emmm.
As well as trading I've kept lock down boredom at bay by adding to my watch collection, just did a quick count up - up to 45 lol.
Nothing too special in the collection, I buy off of Ali express, Amazon and Jomashop. But it's nice when a new one arrives on the doorstep. Keeps me amused.
G
Hu Volcano - no trades for me today ( or this week ) yet.
CRST did ok this morning. MCLS resuts didn't go down so well initially.
Thurs for SHI. Pleased I didn't jump back into PFC this morning.
Am still mulling over PAF or CEY as a possible replacement for my TSG funds, though since the bid they are held around 1.14 - 1.15, and out performing some goldies lol.
Reading around the bb's on here today, I sense quite a lot of nervousness, across many sectors, lots of statements popping up suggesting particular shares have hit their bottom, and offer great buy in opportunities. Let's see.
G
Hi Volcano - no trades for me today, the market was a little red early doors and I had to go out at 10 am, so thought better of a couple of possible trades.
Though I can trade on my mobile, I have stubby fingers, (as you can see from my typing sometimes lol ) and its all too easy to hit the wrong button on my phone. that extra nought when buying and selling has cost me in the past !!
Am back indoors and settled down so am having a little look round now.
G
Volcano - 9 days into my first jab, and counting lol.
Am unlikely to be rushing back into normality. Pub / restaurants / Gym / Foreign Hols etc.
Have booked a UK airbnb for early June.
Fingers crossed all goes well for the UK and the rest of the World.
G
Having announced previously that the airline sale was expected to conclude by the end of last month, ongoing silence can only lead to speculation.
Agree a deal could be announced any time, in the meantime the sp is likely to drift.
We'll probably have to wait till May when the Finals are reported to gain an understanding as to whether the Energy Division can prop up the Aviation Division, s regards monthly ongoing cash burn until the World works out how to return to sustainable passenger flying.
G
Volcano - Tues for MCLS & Thurs for SHI.
I will be interested to see how Mr Market reacts to CINE on Thurs, not been on my trading list but should be a indicator as to how recovery shares are viewed going forward.
No buttons pressed today for me, too red out there, though it's bringing several into attractive trading ranges.
G
Volcano - sorry re read that post - should have said I'll look at the option to buy on the uptick.
G
Volcano -still watching FEVR and GRG, both still in the red after results, will look for the change in sentiment, and buy on the uptick, when and if it comes.
Maybe early next week there will be a blue day out there.
