RE: SP price3 Jul 2019 09:21
Although not legally binding, you can vote against the pay, remuneration committee and / or any individual members on the board if you so wish. I have noticed a few shares where there has been a high percentage voting against the pay, whereby that take "note" and then completely ignore it!
I suppose I prefer shareholders to do at least as well as the board and for our futures, with regards the SP to be aligned but then I am a fat cat shareholder who is only interested in my (rebased) dividend.
Im hoping that around now should be the dark before the dawn. Maximum debt for the deal but still awaiting the green light to get the benefits and fcf going. Still there are a few political issues to sort, Brexit, Trump trade etc. Once these are sorted, good or bad then maybe companies can adapt to the new landscape and start doing what they do best. I might feel less annoyed with free shares and overpay if my own situation was being dragged behind in their wake
