better than expected!. I thought the T-mobile deals might have hurt them more. Some nice increases in the headline figures but there are some clouds on the horizion. Lets see what they do with the divi and how debt is fairing

The placing was oversubscribed and I wonder if the SP will rise now a tad as the shackles will be removed

First impressions are not that great. Need to compare with last years outlook and a divi cut.

I take it that is an old story. "Town Centre Securities at 232½p+8½. Questor says “Buy”." This is a 30% discount to the current share price. I might buy some more at that price today, instant profit! Hi Buchaneer, I bought for the divis which are close to being covered now. Hopefully the improvements will continue and I have been happy with progress of the new management team. If they keep up with progress it should be a good long term hold.

Just checked my broker (Interactive Investor) who are normally late in paying dividends but in this case I dont mind too much as they show it being paid twice! I wonder if this is to improve customer services? Well if they keep paying double divis I wont complain. (waits for an update to say they will be taking it back or will they just do it without saying anything?)

I dont think its Matthew's place to say why the SP fell 20% you should ask the sellers. The numbers were better than expected but headline comparisons with previous year look bad. (they had a few issues and profit warnings in 2014) The outlook is more bullish for this year and things are improving (as you would expect after such a bad 2014) Hopefully things will get back to where they were sooner rather than later. They have also cut costs too that should help the bottom line and the reporting is more conservative so hopefully will under promise and over deliver now from here

On first impression results seem good and a 20% increase in the divi is most welcome. As always the devil will be in the details. Lots of cash being generated and the move to AIM appears to have paid off.

Quick scoot this morning as I am away all day. I like the sound of years of rising dividends. Just wished they had a blip every now and again to add some more. Maybe Mr Market will have a real wobble.

Looks like another busy day for the Bonz advice service. I suppose there are lots of shareholders that obtained free shares after being a customer that are not really traders or active investors and not fully up to speed with whats going on. (That's not a criticism I used to be in that camp!) Do you hold any GSK? please move your advice tent over there next. Its a nice problem to have. We also had a ride together but it was summer and a charity event was on and you could hardly cycle due to the amount of people out on the trail. So an overcast, non school or bank holiday that is charity free. Share price continues to rise so maybe more difficult to add my "windfall" back in here right now so might have to wait for mr market to have a wobble.

Well Im happy to read your free wise words. An email has informed me the deal is done although a tiny few did vote against, I wonder why? So Monday I will have less SL. shares, a cash cheque going to the brokers on fools day and a fraction of a share to be converted for cash. I should have ensured I had a holding that was divisable by 11. This should equal what I started off with on Friday. Still dont know where the cash is going but NG is one option HNT the other. I dont have any NG so maybe that is the favorite at the moment. Hopefully I shall wave to you as I cycle by as I intend doing the Devon C2C this year. I am also trying to get Mrs G to cycle along with me too. Just need to decide if I should start or finish in Plymouth. The windfall will be that we will be able to eat Devon cream tea's without feeling guilty after burning all those calories. Much better than the windfall on Monday! I wonder if it might pull back a bit post the return of capital as there is no "windfall" in the offing anymore and those that are looking for this sort of thing move on. In some ways I hope it does pull back because some of my returned cash might then be given back and swapped for the shares I will loose this weekend. Hopefully I will get chance to buy on the dips! Bonz maybe you should be a tax adviser too, you could even charge 1 share per thread ..... seems fair!

As I am not much of a horsey betting type. Apparently things were not going well for LAD when the racing results were going against the bookies. Talks of loosing millions and apparently knocking the share price yesterday more than the market wobble. Mr Market having a wobble but this didnt fall. Maybe people think they can get a "windfall" surely its too early for divi sweepers but maybe not. I did wonder if this would peak approaching the deal only to fall away post deal a bit like Vodafone. I still feel Mr Market has a bit more wobble in it even if this is just a blip.
