I suspect there is going to be a placement, probably at a discount to get rid of the covenant issue which is the main reason I sold. I wasn't sure that I had the conviction to add more with current management in place although it is something I am happy to do generally. Well at least you follow your name, brave, you are. I suspect this could come good at some point and 10p might be seen as a large discount but there is so much risk with poor management its almost a hail Mary call for me. I liked that one 50glass, having sold at a loss after the update. I saw many who sold after the profiteering scheme, sorry profit scheme was announced. In hindsight I should have joined the protest and had more money in my pocket. Im almost tempted to consider rejoining after the SP has continued to fall as this is likely to become cheap on metrics, it might be there already. Still there is something underhand the way the company is run and once bitten twice shy.

A profit is a profit as they say, and you did what you said. Still if you have stayed a little longer maybe you could have had another grand. Then you could have bought a new shirt, even if it was a short one. Onward and upward just don't loose the shirt on your back.

I dont know where they get that from, pollsters maybe but look at their recent track record! grahamsturman - I hope your a young 65 and your looking 30 years ahead. I dont know what will happen over the next few years but shares do go up and down. Hopefully you can gather the divis along the way and reinvest on dips and or sell a few after they have risen. I too think it will be a bumpy ride but hasn't it always been? I suspect you might have to look at you attitude to risk, how much your down (it only paper losses atm) and whats your breaking point, some set stop losses to take away the emotion. Buy high sell low ....... is not the usual call you here for great investing but you have to decide what to do based on all your known factors which we dont have.

With the benefit of hindsight, yes I should have waited. I tried and failed to add more at 250 ish but eventually managed to get into my account and added more @283. Hopefully Monday things might become a little clearer. Maybe brokers will allow limit orders and trade plans and get back to some normality. Is this due to the latest Brexit polls with a 51% to 49% in favor of remain. I suppose this might change tomorrow if the result is swapped but which ever way it goes, being this close is not good news. Half the country is going to be disappointed. The breakdown of the results might prove more interesting and Im sure this will be next weeks "noise". I am willing to chew Tunes steak, whilst hoping Sids advice to buy low as possible works out. I expressed similar thoughts on the when to top up. You have to pick a jump point and Im not good enough to pick bottoms all the time. This is balanced with other considerations like if I wait a bit longer it might get cheaper or if I wait too long I might miss the bus. Still as long as your buying nearer to the bottom that the top your going to be doing ok. I always struggle knowing when to sell. x5 years income would take me to 394.8p and its been 480+ but I suspect I will just keep collecting the divis whilst all is well but only reinvesting here in situations like we have just had. 330 now feels "expensive" but it was the ipo price. Other considerations include having capital, other bargains, PF percentage holdings etc. The top up is looking good today but it wasnt the day after I bought and maybe a Brexit will knock it back again. What price then? Goose, any hindsight decision always makes you think that you could have done better, just like if you had only picked some better numbers on the rollover. (will we be allowed to do the euro lottery if we leave?) Bookies say we will stay in. I agree with zed44. I think last lot was to cover script rather than a real buy back. Should get on with running the company than becoming investment managers, most are poor at the latter
