Blue, after a while you will get to know Suf a little better. He is a glass more than half full most of the time guy but occasionally he has a wobble and you get the "oh no what have I done post." I doubt he could ramp something this size and he was buying in the dark days and I suspect his posts were to convince himself mainly. I agree the main concept appears to be hope rather than some expertly analysed view and I would not recommend his investing style to others but as he points out its working for him and hes risking his own dosh and its the parrots neck on the line. I often look forward to the Friday nite posts after hes had the odd shebert but I agree he over eggs the pudding. Still I wish him well, luck and that the parrot remains so and not a stuffed turkey. Activewear coming to Debs. Debenhams said they decided to take in Lorna Jane due to the strong demand for athletic leisure products in their stores. Is this Magic Mikes SPD influence or a move to a more up market sportswear demand. Will we see both concessions in the same store? As the weather gets cooler some new running/bike longs for Mrs G might be in order although the lady I saw riding her bike this morning might be better off investing in some lights before she wins a Darwin Award.

In fact she wanted to buy two items from Argos yesterday but they only had one in store. Another store had the second item and the lady offered to deliver and wave the delivery charge. Glad I swallowed my losses earlier but not soon enough. All seemed to go wrong from the bonus scheme. Not sure about Mr Hawkins some seem to think he has previous. In hindsight I should have left on the announcement of the scheme. Lesson learned even if it was expensive, then again private schools are not cheap.

I dont think a bank has ethics anyway, the leaders set the tone. I wish more could be done against individuals rather than organisations. Their systems might be bad in assisting identifying problems but internal audits should pick up on potential problems. Makes you wonder if this was ever raised and who stopped it going further.

Just checked and can withdraw funds now. Had a quck peep at the terms cant see anything that clarifies, they mention the word prompt! Maybe they have to wait for the funds to clear overnight? I know Interactive investor can take up to 10 working days to pay funds although they are getting better and other such as HL pay out of their own pot and sort the cash bit out later. I suppose the lower the costs are the less better the service generally. Still I can wait a day to have more dosh in my pocket.

I was in my Iweb account yesterday and noticed that the divi was received but I hold in account so dont know how long they take to pay out. It was not showing in the cash so maybe it takes a day or so to become available just like selling the shares. Maybe someone else can confirm. Might recheck later just to see

Looks like you timed your dealing well. A quick in n out could be a useful strategy if you keep a watchful eye out. Still expecting a wobble and news seems to be focused on the negatives. Well I suppose they might have to add more going into the pot and divert away from divis and its how they find a balance. Pensions look to invest in safe but near zero returns, seems strange. I havent been keeping a close eye on the buyback but it looks like they bought enough for the script cant recall any being binned though, at this rate it might be xmas 2020. Have they heard me moan about share buybacks generally and waiting for the SP to fall before really buying some. They should downgrade themselves and recommend a sell and pay the insider dealing fine with the divi saving, if only. 600, so near yet so far.
