I disagree with your statement that they will need to raise money within the next few weeks. They had £1m in the bank at the end of October. They spend about £60k/month on admin and have just spent £50k on Vardar. So they should have £750k in the bank now.

I am surprised so few on this board have had any comment to make on the reason for Lofven's visit to the Jokmokk Sami leaders. The share price has perked up 25% since that extraordinary development.

Spending £50k on acquiring 0.7% of Vardar means it must be exceptionally good. It is clear to me that Beowulf intends to remain an explorer only (not a producer because they don't have the skills) with Kallak being sold to the highest bidder. We are all going to get a massive special dividend. This is a great buying opportunity and the risk /reward ratio strengthened significantly when Lofven turned up in Jokmokk earlier this month. Not long to wait now.

What do you think was the purpose of Lofven's meeting with the Sami in Jokmokk last week? The Sami leader said that Lofven had told them 'Sweden now needs to take responsibility'.

When do you think a Yes decision will come ADF? What is the relevance of your reference to a Consultation Committee decision expected this Spring (your comment from 12 Feb 16.12).

I did it because I needed to pay for some other shares that I bought on a 28 day settlement 26 days ago. Doing this meant that I did not have to transfer £7k cash to my broker. It is correct that i cant sell them quickly, but i could sell them in two weeks on a ten day settlement. Not that i intend to do that and if i did want to sell some tomorrow I can still sell some of my others that i already own on a 2 day settlement. Interactive investor now offer 28 day settlement to all their clients.

That 256k trade was someone selling them at 72 on a 2 day settlement and buying them back at 72.015 on a 28 day settlement. I did it myself yesterday selling 5,000 at 72.1 and buying back at 71! all at 14.18pm on 28 day settlement to buy. Not believing my luck, i did it again 4 minutes later but this time it was 72.1 (sell) 72 (buy)

And from that short interview with Kurt Budge that you have just posted, he seems as certain about a yes decision without legal action as you do ADF. Can you explain what it is that we are waiting for from the Constitutional Committee?

That sounds quite positive to me. Why would Lofven visit the Sami except for the reason of breaking the news to them that the mine takes precedence.

Andy - What is your interpretation of this extraordinary development?

Having listened to the Ryan King interview the period 50.10 - 52.48min directly relates tot eh Condor situation. It is clear that Calibre is not interested in helping Condor to rerate. So Toll Mining with Calibre isn't going to happen. Ryan King states that they are concentrating on getting their own share price higher and that is when then M&A for Calibre can be accretive for them. The conclusion i have drawn from his statement is that Condor will be a target for Calibre when Calibre's own share price is higher. Meanwhile entering into a Toll Mining arrangement with Condor would not be in Calibre shareholders interests (as it would make would serve to make Condor a more expensive acquisition.

So Plan A for Condor isn't going to happen not ever.

My interpretation of the Government reply is that Baylan is acknowledging that the only way forward for Beowulf is to commence legal action against the Government in order to force the Government to make a decision for the benefit of the nation, not the Green Party. It is an invitation to Beowulf to get on with the legal action so that the Government can forced out of the political impasse.

In Canada it is now the equivalent of 11.8p at 20 canadian cents. In the USA it is the equivalent of 12.4p at 16.11 cents. Although the share price has fallen in North America it is still well above the UK price. That is comforting if you bought this morning.
