Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Fair point, but sometimes these things are just unfathomable....2 years on mb they convince themselves the future needs scale. As ever, time will tell. I am no guru, just very wary of equity raises.
Puts his ginger on it imho.
I started to suspect a raise might be contemplated when the name chage was first mooted, and wish I'd acted on my suspicions then. I have reluctantly exited today.
Imv the reason these shares never reach a fair valuation given their recird and yield is the BoD habit of periodically raising at a sizeable discout in order to chase growth in the asset base, meanwhile destroying value for existing holders.
It's a great business model that should be delivering really good s/holder returns, and constant dilution is unnnecessary....either wait and grow organically, or set up new SPVs to chase more opportunities, with new shareholders etc.
Anyway, mb I'm wrong and no raise is coming. I'll be surprised, tho.

Also from RNS 23 Feb ". I look forward to providing an update on our progress at Pitfield, particularly on the outcome from our recent mineralogical and metallurgical studies, in the very near future.""
his is the news we need to see. The drilling was flagged up and scheduled. Met/min analysis much more important at this stage, imho. I am confident of good outcomes, tho that confidence id based on SB's optimism, and credible posts from AGEOS, who clearly knows his stuff..
BUT...with no disrespect to either of them, one is an interested party and subject to all the human traits and biases of close involvement, the other is an anonymous BB poster. So it's not entirely nailed on yet. just very promising, imv.
Remember the 6 and 12 months are the VESTING dates, after which the options can be exercised. They only exercise at employee discretion from then until an expiry date, unspecified in the RNS. So don't read too much into the 6 and 12 month periods, they are the period in which the options are unavailable to the employees.
ML, I don't think it is helpful to start calling posters snakes. Even if some mb!. It only encourages others to use similar terms and pollutes the BB.
Fact is that early stage resource companies oscillate, sometimes on news or lack of it, sometimes inexplicably. I could recite a list of companies that look a sure thing, and guarantee that only a few will work out. I'm pretty sure EEE will be one of them, but there's a long way to go so let's not count too many chickens just yet.
i to have confidence in SB, but not overconfidence......
"I followed up and they confirmed they are looking into responding"
Ye Gods, how trsusting some folk can be. No sane investor can really retain any confidence in the BoD. perhaps it's as well they haven't responded, I doubt they could have anything positive to say. you can safely bet that np info will be forthcoming on the financial position, which is now just about the only thing that matters, and has been for a year now.
"Treble will do !!"....of course! But......how about nothing at all? We just don't know, and i suspect that even if all is well (and it may not be) it will take some time to clear the doubts over both debt and emissions.
"Same old garbage from fools."
A very balanced article, imv. outlines the risks, highlights the possible rewards., tho focuses only on the emissions question. Ignores the issues raised by the shorter re debt sustainability.Fact is this share is either worth at least double, mb treble, current levels, or nothing at all. Who knows.
"It comes down to who you believe understands the technical issues regarding the minimisation of methane emissions from old wells - Democrat politicians or the bods on the DEC board"
That must ranks as one of the most naive statements I've seen on a chat board to date.

Perfectly illustrates my point to rb84....sellers have their own reasons and between news traders move around, returning either on news or in anticipation of it. It's just normal churn ; while LT holders stay put, the price is set by trading activity. Just normal churn, which is of course what in a perverse way creates the very market opportunities traders are looking for...but also provides entry points for other LT investors.
The longer between news, the more tendency to drift.

I suggest it is possible you are seeing patterns where there are none, and ascribing motives which fit with your preconceptions, in a form of confirmation bias., to which we re all susceptible.
it is also possible that you are right, of course ! But imho ascribing motives to patterns of anonymous dealing, much of which doesn't even show up on lse, is on fairly thin evidential ice.
Really?
SP is followimng the classic early stage movement in my view. ; complaining that prices are being manipulated by dark forces when it should be higher is wishful thinking.
AGEOS ' helpful intervention yesteday gave a boost, but the classic pattern is for drift until news. And for all the justified (imho) positivity around the discovery, likely recoverability, etc, etc, EEE is a long way from a working mine. Cash will be needed for the pilot plant already mooted in H2, unless a partner jumps in. MB, just mb, a big miner comes in early and buys it out, but absent that I would expect the SP to peak on news/fall back as almost every early stage miner oilie tends to do.
That doesn't mean I'm being -ve ; the levels it gyrates around will vary depending on new, and could be higher or lower than today. Just don't look for hidden forces all the tine the stock doesn't behave as we want it to.
