No it will not. It will see them pump existing wells to the max, to cover as much of their costs as possible.
where it WILL make a difference is in the drilling of new wells, as the forward price declines and they are unable to hedge forward production to finance new drilling. That is happening already, with the rig count declining for a year now. These prices will accelerate that.
Trouble is, that takes a while to show thru to production, so don't hold your breath ; mb by Q4 shale growth will turn to decline, but no sooner.
Poo needs China back to work, some action from OPEC+, and the Libyans to keep fighting.
