A local Hungarian publication has reported that Carpathian has sold four shopping centres to MKB Bank ('MKB'). The Company can confirm that this is not true: Carpathian continues to own these properties and remains in close discussion with MKB on the future of the assets

The New Chief Executive intends the Company to pursue two distinct strategies.Firstly the Company will assess prospects for its existing Ukrainian assets.Secondly, the Company will look to acquire assets in the USA, where opportunities are currently being evaluated, including a prospect in which Mr Lofgran has an interest. Any acquisition from Mr Lofgran would be satisfied by the issue of new shares, supported by an independent valuation

Earthport, the global payments utility, has appointed Zeus Capital to assist the Company in reviewing and evaluating a number of strategic options which the Board has available to them with the primary objective of optimising shareholder value. One such option may include an offer being made for the Company. This announcement therefore has the effect of commencing an offer period under the rules of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers ("Code"). Earthport has now moved into a period of advanced execution following successful developments in several areas and therefore the Board believes that the Company is in a very strong position from which to assess and decide which of the options available to it best serves the interests of shareholders. This world leader in Internet casino and branded gaming software, has signed a three-year agreement to provide at least 9 of its most popular online slot games to Paddy Power, the largest provider of betting services in Ireland and one of the world's best-known gaming brands.
