Hi mcgaz. Yes the opening price is .39p. It may well end up 1p because the takeover rules which I have explaines elsewhere means that LGB will have to offer everyone obove or the same price that they themselves have paid during the offer period. So whatch RNSs for holding declarations to see the prices cpaid for by LGB, they will require at least 50% and 90% minimum to force the remaining 10% to give up their shares. I hope I have explained the situation clearly, let me know otherwise.

RAF. I have posted a buy after my appraisal yesterday. There will be plenty of press coverage on this one so with the price well down on yesterdays highs. A possible bid situation will keep the shares bouyed. There is nothing that any one can do about current losses. But PLEASE PLEASE do not buy shares just to chase your losses and I make it an absolute no no never to buy shares on the pretext of a possible bid. My footprints often go against the trend, but that is how I see things, I cannot help it.

LGB. Hi mcgaz. I gave a precise warning yesterday how I thought the day would unfold. I know my comments hurt but knowing the market as I do I warned everyone to sell late yesterday afternoon. The market will settle down. I have posted a buy now because whatever happens to the prospective deal. LGB still has this cash pile that everyone points to.

RAF. Now that a formal Bid pursuant to Rule 2.4 and Rule 8.3 of The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. Both parties are now in a game of Chess and the gameplan will be monitered by the FSA under the rules laid down in FSMA. Speculators can decide their loose game plan but the strict Code will have to be adhered to by Bidder/Target. I have the rules in front of me as I type.

LGB. The penny may have dropped for Dinky and Bilbo that LGB is in an acquisition process. What they may not know is that The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers rules kick in and The Rules Governing Substantial Acquisitions of Shares rule the roost. So apart from the wheeling and dealing of speculators, the two sides involved in the Chess game are now very much under the supervision and control of FSMA etc.

RAF. The synergies between the two Companies will only become obvious as the deal unfolds, whatever the motives are for the approach time will tell. for the moment, I as a mere observer, can only draw on what is public knowledge, everything else is speculative until the CIRCULAR is supplied, should one be needed, is sent to the Members. The motives and aspirations of any individual in this situation will require shareholder approval, so irrespective of the future direction and leanings of certain individuals is neither here nor there, the shareholders will decide the outcome, and the respective Boards will have to act in the best interests of the employees and shareholders.

LGB. Members of LGB formerly Crown Corporation are so battle hardened and fatigued will have a lot to say about this. Forget about cash in the bank. Some shareholders have long memories of how their funds have been frittered away, mispent abused and spent on extravagant spending sprees. A bidders share irrespective of its cash pile always, always get knocked back.

ARX. Hi wotaloadofbull. I have been in some 5***** situations but non have kept me waiting this long. When do you think they will deliver the 5 ***** service that has been paid for?

PTC. Hi wayner yes i thought that a buying in of directors of Da group was a bit remote for PTC, but seens PTC bought DA software I thought I would post it any way and let investors decide the merits.

LGB. If you are still in it is too late. The news is already in the price and unfortunately LGB is on the receiving end of a sticky wicket. If you are not in RAF again you have missed the boat, because without the terms having been spelled out all buyers have piled in pushing the price beyond what has been offered. Those are my views but I have posted previous footprints how I think the share price will behave from past experiences. But as a caveat every possible buyout situation is unique. However I know from my readings of the "city code" how things should progress and at what price should be offered during any offer period, so in some respects I am well informed.

PXC. A steady selling today up until 11am, then fell asleep and started to sell again at 2 oclock. With a couple of yawn buys during that period. This stock mystyfies me. Millions bought one day drip sells another. Press reports saying Company is a star in the Broadband world, possible target for would be opportunistic buyers into the Broadband honey pot. and Wimax trough not to mention the voip gravy train. I reiterate my previous sentiments: The stockmarket never ceases to amaze, baffle, confuse, or intrigue me. Some thoughts on this one pleae I feel like GedW no mates on this page !!!!

RAF. The Bid news came late in the day. The Share Price rose high and tomorrow some tabloids will run a story gathering momentum stock buying, so by mid morning I would be a seller because the share price may will take a breather, it may be too early for the weekend press to run the story, so by Monday mid day will present good buying window, but if they do latch on to the situation I would still sell because of the hype and buy back when price retreats and the full impact of whether or not a conjoined situation materialises.

PRTY. Now that the new 888 float has bedded in and the reports of the American sabre rattling has been discounted. Now is the time to pick up the stock cheap.

LGB. I make it my business to know what is happening. I watch, look, hear., research monitor etc etc etc. This situation comes as no surprise to me as fellow footprinters will testify. I take a very pragmatic view of everything I encounter on these pages and have the memory of an elephant.

LGB. I am so sorry for the recent buyers of this stock, who may have responded to the news without really understanding the situation. I will sell rather than buy. But I bear the brunt of your wrath if I have misjudged the situation. But recent trades bear me out.
