Has been received from Clos de Mensil Ltd, offer is 4p/share which values LTR at £10.78Mns. Sold on the cheap.

Has been advanced to the tune of £1/4mns to fund working capital, has been passed as in the interests of shareholders. The loan carries a coupon of 5% over Barclays base rate, and is repayable 31st Oct 2009 and repaid in full by 31st Oct 2011. Current trading is alleged to be in line with broker/director forcasts.

Taking advantage of weakness. Two Directors were responsible for the two recent near £13k investments, both taking their holdings to just under 5% each.

The share price did respond to recent negative sentiment. And now the next chapter is being written. An egm has been called by members holding some 14% of the stock, the meeting has been called in order to remove certain Directors, however one of the Directors mentioned has since tendered his resignation. Not too sure what the Agenda is behind the removal, but the idea is to replace the ousted Directors with perhaps more forward thinking ones, will this enhance shareholder value, not that sure. But it makes investing here interesting if not that profitable, yet !!!!

According to current valuations of 107p/share. This stock appears to be on the buying list...

Once the divi has been paid out, there will be less cash in the vaults to support the current share price, so expect the sp to tumble southbound by a sizeable amount once divi is distributed, if share price rises by more than 35% between now and 26th October registration cut off date, might be an idea to cash in shares rather than wait for taxed dividend. Hanging on may well soften the original investment if the consequent divi payout dents the sp by more than 35% then that negates the divi benefit. It may well be the case to mop up cheaper shares in the fallout and hope the Company's continuing strategic review recovers the sp to its former pre divi levels.

Heads of agreement have been signed between VOG and BML for the shares purchse by VOG. Looks like it is a done deal...

As a direct result of general market decline, the Company has declared today that the recent announced scrip dividend will be replaced by an interim 20.5%/share in cash dividend payable 31st October 2008, this certainly makes the shares more attractive.

Directors buying into the Company is a clear indication of confidence, as who else is best placed to know where the Co is heading other than the hands on Directors. The issue of Director buying was covered 26th July in General Chat "General Chat" page 5 and covered elsewhere over the years. Some 160,000 shares were bought in the previous two trading sessions by no less than 4 high ranking senior Directors. When Ds buy in it is usually wise to follow their lead and perceived wisdom !!!!!!!!

In order to increase shareholder value, this Co is undergoing a strategic review inclding continued share re-purchase programme, and a potential buy out of a bolt on and strategic acquisition, as well as considering taking the Co private on an mbs structured deal, however this has been put on the back burner for now as a result of the lack of private equity funds drying up. There is also suggestions of returning cash to members by way of a special dividend which will use up the £5.08mns sitting in the vaults, equating to around 3p/share.

Not much is known about this secrtetive Icelandic investor, but what is for sure his roots could become more exposed than he would like. Maybe unlike his fellow Countrymen Jon Johannesson and Bjorgolfur Bjorgolfsson, he may not have invested in Iceland's financial institutions so publicly exposed, if he has, expect most of his shareholdings to unwind pretty sharpish.

By acquiring a further 1mns share at 3/4p/share, taking his holding to 26.89% of the stock, only 3.11% away from the magic 30% where a mandatory bid for the outstanding shares will have to be made...

If only Stuart Bray had follwed my footprints here. He would have followed all my buy and sell and indifferent footprints to vast wealth. But no matter Stuart I still reckon that ASC is worth £4 plus and beyond. Fancy writing an Email as you did, when all you needed to know was here befor your eyes. Good luck relying on Shares magazine, as much as I respect all them at Shares. They have made me bundles over the years, but sometimes they have momentarily lapses of concentration.

Continues with the buying back of almost £2mns of senior debt at less than face value. A spin off of the credit crunch is that distressed banks need all the funds they can get their hands on, so cash rich Companies are now surrendering their loans under par, this will strengthen up the balance sheet and decrease profit and loss expenses. Looks like in some cases the boot is on the other foot. looks like the management is pursuing all means to create and maximise shareholder value, this looks like pinning the "Company for sale" board out.

Revenues up to £2.5mns to 30th June 08, a rise of over 128% unaudited. And a strong start to the current fiscal year. Will continue to reduce costs, leading to a stronger Balance Sheet as debt is reduced. A respectable report all in all out this morning.

More like the snake bit back. Stop loss £3 kicked in, now it is a question of getting in at the most attractive position. Based on what my research uncovers, at current price ASC offers up good value. It seems that analysts have over discounted forthcoming christmas sales as being weaker than most predict, so for now the share price fall appears over done. Analysts still projecting £4/share both in terms of trading performance and takeover speculation.

Released by ENK's partner in crime TMC for their joint appraisal at the Berong Heap workings, although positive, it is yet another "jam" tomorrow story. TMC shares up 17% pre market, but will probably open up neutral, falling intra session.
