I am sceptical about these so called Financial Experts TBH..i would bet their wheel Barrows are full of share certificates......ready to sell at any time.....

Yes..indeed....
Simply because a lot of liquidity went into their 123 accounts when they offered 3% interest on instant access accounts...........far more than their competitors!!!
Even though it is now only 1.5% IMO they will not have lost the holders they won over ....
Their Divi is attractive ..their SP surpressed ......
.the Banking Sector has been out of favour for years........but IMO bottomed out..........(albeit difficult to catch the bottom)
The yankie banks turnaround has progresed faster than ours and we could follow.........
.I traded them reasonably succesfully years ago...
They lost almost 5% yesterday.
Oh and quite frankly albeit never a good reason to trade is that they were on my watch list and I was bored.
If it goes 50p lower I will double up.
Hope this suffices my rationale ( or Errational)

Wow..your right about the BNC doomsters .........but i too have not dipped my toe in the water on BNC for some time...and our Banking sector is on its Backside and will hopefully recover when all the bad news is out of the way?

Ps Have you read the TLW board It has one serious Doomster who is taking on most of the posters!!

Possibly the most "Heart Felt " message I have ever read on this site and indeed I wish you well my freind..
It is a difficult time for us as our son was admiited to hospital and sectioned some Ten years ago... It was a life changer for us...and brings back sad memories...Albeit we will hopefully as a family enjoy Xmas at home together.
However I hope you continue to fully recover ..great news

Is that if any one of these brokers were to seriously fail ..Admin etc...
and we were left to appeal to the FCA to recover our funds that say were on deposit.......that the FCA may reject our submission as the platform custodians were clased as a form of gambling organisation

Then Y have limit orders...Thieves....just look at the way they handled Woodford..they dont deserve our business
