A High Court Judge is a constitutional position that is immune from being removed from his office by any authority of India except by Parliament through impeachment as President of India can be removed.
He holds immense power to do justice to curb wrongdoing by State or Central Govt or any private person. He can decide matters on his own motion as PILs. They have power to interpretate law and give proper meanings to legal terms. They regulate all trial courts in their jurisdiction.
