Morning guys, regarding transfer of stock, I've been with barcs for years and after constant calls to them regarding stel/Newfield, all they keep telling me us to wait for corporate action notification as they have no news about tjis so cannot action anything. I therefore have transferred all my share accounts including investment isa to IG who have been nothing but very helpful in this saying they were willing to do it all via e-mail if barcs were willing to play ball, they wouldn't. Anyone else having trouble ? They're tits !

best price I got in last 10 mins was 5.75 with IG, waited and waited till last 30 seconds when it suddenly jumped to 7.25. Waiting game now but I can see a return after all these years ! GL all.

ASX, I'm with Barcs and called them a couple of weeks ago regarding stel shares. They wont trade after the switch but told me to wait until I get a corporate actions notice on my account as they say they have no information yet, It's cutting it fine if they don't have any info yet ! I am gonna open an IG account next week and transfer my stel shares to them, or maybe my whole portfolio, getting a bit peeved with barcs lately !

Thanks for the info, barcs have told me to wait until they have further information but did informed that they won't trade ASX and it would mean selling my investment or transferring to another broker. I guess I will open an account with IG ? Bad form when one of the world's largest banks only deal in UK stocks!

There is talk of A company called CHESS in the rns. Having never encountered a situation like this I'm a little in the dark too but it shouldn't be difficult. Gonna spend some time on this subject today !

Folks read up on Newfield, they're no mugs and transparent as crystal on ASX. I'm staying put as these have a realistic chance of going way higher as the enlarged group takes shape ! If course there is quick money to be made too, each to their own as they say !

Pesky, if you leave them, your shares will definitely become shares in NWF. I guess you will have a window of opportunity between now and then but it will need to be gauged finely ! I'm leaving mine as I see more upside after conversion!

Don't know why investors aren't all over this !
